Broncos-Colts one-liners

The win over the Broncos was the Colts’ 22nd consecutive regular-season victory, an NFL record.

Colts TE Dallas Clark had a career-high three touchdowns.

Now that the Colts have clinched home-field advantage, it will be more than a month until they play another meaningful game. (At least, if you consider attempting to go undefeated meaningless.)

The Colts’ run defense had a big game.

Broncos coach Josh McDaniels decided to defer on the opening coin toss, which the Broncos’ defensive players took as a sign of confidence.

At one point in the first quarter, the Colts led 14-0 and the Broncos had only run three offensive plays.

Broncos WR Brandon Marshall set a new NFL record for catches and gave one lucky fan a great souvenir.

Other than Marshall, the Broncos’ offensive players didn’t do much.

The Broncos are having problems in short-yardage situations.
