Giants-Eagles one-liners

The favored Eagles easily covered the one-point spread in Sunday’s 45-38 shootout win over the Giants.
Despite the impressive victory, Sam Donnellon of the Philadelphia Daily News doesn’t believe that the Eagles are a championship-caliber team.
Eagles rookie RB LeSean McCoy’s carries are down over the last two weeks with FB Leonard Weaver and Wildcat QB Michael Vick seeing more of the workload.
Eagles TE Brent Celek managed to haul in five balls for 64 yards and a touchdown Sunday night despite playing through a sore back.
Giants WR Steve Smith caught seven passes for 74 yards, giving him a franchise record 85 catches on the season.
Hakeem Nicks started at split end over Mario Manningham Sunday night and caught four balls for 110 yards and a touchdown, but also mixed in three drops.

Giants RT Kareem McKenzie sprained his MCL in the loss, and is expected to miss at least two weeks.

The Giants have now dropped their last four meetings with the Eagles.

Why does it matter what reporters think?? Show me the ONE reporter who said the Cardinals would get to the Super Bowl last year.. just ONE.. reporters in any city are ALL frauds..

I dont know what odds you were looking at. I checked out about 10 different sports books and play pro-pickem on Foxsports.com and they all had the Giants as 1 point favorites.
They were considered even in talent and a toss up as to who would win but b/c the Giants had home field advantage they got the knod in the odds.

    Akshun is right,
in 2007 all the “experts” picked the giants to lose in every playoff game except Terry Bradshaw in the NFC championship game. Eli Manning was terrific last night despite the drops but the Giants won’t get far with that defense.

Sam Donnellon has an opinion and I have an opinion…Sam Donnellon isn’t worthy enough to carry my jock strap let alone write BS like that. Thanks Sam and we wonder why the world still thinks of us as the fans who throw snowballs at Santa….douche bag
