Jets-Buccaneers one-liners

Despite Jets QB Kellen Clemens’ turnover-free performance in Sunday’s 26-3 win over Tampa Bay, Mark Sanchez (knee) is fully expected to regain his starting job when healthy.
As they’ve done for much of the season, the Jets used CB Darrelle Revis to shadow Bucs No. 1 WR Antonio Bryant, and Revis held him to two catches for 22 yards.
Clearly poised to use a power-running approach in the game, the Jets started in a three-tight end set with skilled blocking receiver Brad Smith as the lone wideout.
The Jets employed exotic pressure packages to confuse Bucs rookie QB Josh Freeman, routinely blitzing five or more early in the game but dropping several men into coverage after showing blitz as the game wore on.
The last time the Bucs started a season 1-12 was in 1977, when Jimmy Carter was president.
Bucs coach Raheem Morris at least partially blamed his team’s dreadful Week 14 effort on a “terrible” Friday practice.
Tampa Bay managed just 124 total yards of offense against a Jets defense that now ranks No. 1 overall in the league.
Freeman has thrown zero touchdowns compared to eight interceptions in his last two games, and just three TDs to 11 picks in the last month.

Are you saying whenever the Bucs go 1-12 the current Democrat president gets defeated in their re-election campaign?

Revis did his usual great job, but he did not shadow Antonio Bryant. Rich Cimini obviously didn’t watch the game. The Jets played almost strictly zone coverage to confuse the rook Josh Freeman and in fact, Revis probably covering Brian Clark more than Antonio. His interception also came on a pass intended for Clark.

Raheem said they are not a good football team and by god I do think he is on to something there . Looking on the brightside 1 and 15 should get some really good draft picks and the Bears suck too.
