Lions-Ravens one-liners

Said Ravens RB Ray Rice of his big game in the 48-3 win over the Lions, “That’s a sweet feeling when you know you work all week, watch the film and you know what you’re going to get.”

Ravens MLB Ray Lewis said he was proud of the secondary for shutting down Lions WR Calvin Johnson.

Said Lions coach Jim Schwartz, “I thought that in preparation, [Saturday] in meetings and [Sunday] in pre-game, everyone was ready to play. I was way off the mark there.”

Schwartz said RB Kevin Smith, who suffered a serious knee injury, “was one of the few bright spots in this game and was playing his butt off. He wasn’t quitting.”

Ravens WR Derrick Mason had a 62-yard touchdown on which he stayed on his feet despite getting drilled by two Lions defensive backs.

Ravens QB Joe Flacco played an efficient, turnover-free game on a cold and rainy day.

No one on the Lions deserves a passing grade for Sunday’s performance.

Lions K Jason Hanson is having one of the worst years of his career.

The Lions have now lost 19 straight road games.

The Lions already hold the record for most consecutive road losses at 23 or 24 I believe. We just got it a few years ago, and they were talking about how it would be hard to ever break it…..YHEY UNDERESTIMATED THE MIGHTY LIONS!
