The Dallas Cowboys will have to face the New Orleans Saints without their best defensive player.
Cowboys linebacker DeMarcus Ware is expected to miss at least one game after suffering a sprained neck against the San Diego Chargers on Sunday, Adam Schefter of ESPN is reporting. Although Ware was out of the hospital by Sunday night, his injury apparently is serious enough that he can’t play just six days later when the Cowboys face the Saints on Saturday.
So against the great Saints’ passing attack, the Cowboys will be without the player who leads the team in sacks.
Ware has started every game since his rookie season, so the Saints game will be the first game Ware has missed in his five-year career.
There goes any chance the Cowboys had of knocking off the Saints.
@ ranover
You mean the Cowboys actually had a chance to win that game?
According to Tony Dungy on Sunday nights pre-game, The Cowboys never had any chance of beating The Saints anyway.
Hope he’s ok…one of the few players on that team that plays hard every play.
Any Coyboys fan that thinks that they could go into the Superdome and beat the Saints is delusional. They got beat by a good passing attack by the Chargers at home in a game that they needed to win. Prepare to be carved up for Christmas.
@ Saints baby
If you carve Dallas up, you had better bring a better game than you did against an Atlanta team with their backups playing at many key positions.
Take 5 starters off of your defense, pick up players to fill the spots off of the street and see if you struggle on defense. The offense will have to carry them until their starters get healthy in time for the playoffs.
