Thats funny that you say the NFC South is “historically” the worst in football when its only been in existance since 2002. Also, since its been created it is the ONLY Division in the NFL to have each team at least make it to a Conference Championship, “bad” NO, “Competitive” YES. Also last time I checked, WE CLINCHED OUR DIVISION….Only thing yall will be clinching is the REMOTE in January….And I hope the Saints are the team that helps that happen because of BITTER fans like you. You say we Saints fans dont know how to act with success, well you Cowboys fans dont know how to act with failure. Also you want to throw out Stats from 2005 – 2009, well heres one for you….LAST 5 Meetings—Saints -5 Wins – Cowboys -0 …Looks like we gotta 5 game winning streak going here, Will it be a 6th Saturday? Let me say it again: YEP, THE COWBOYS LAST 10 YEARS HAS BEEN PRETTY LAME OVERALL. Not up to the usual standard of success they set in previous years.
But that’s not the discussion here. What we’re talking about is some Saints fans posting here that all of a sudden, after one good season, they are now America’s Team. That’s called delusion.

Yep, the Dallas Cowboys are in the worst decade of their existence. Longest stretch without a playoff win, yada, yada, yada. Yep, it’s not as fun as it used to be as a Cowboys fan. And yet…
2005-2009 W-L Record: Cowboys 48-30 / Saints 42-37
Again, when you have a long track record of sustained success then you can make your case. The Cowboys did not give themselves the America’s Team title and did not ask for it. It was not given to them based on one year and it can’t be earned by the Saints with one good year. Or by you just saying it.
I guess I can’t blame you for not knowing how to act right when you’re team has success, since it’s something you’ve never experienced.

What is your definition of “Americas Team?” Most Super Bowl Wins? Well then that would be the Pittsburgh Steelers……Your 20 Consecutive seasons ENDED in 1985……..When you can name one player STILL on the Cowboys Roster that was a part of those playoff victories and Super Bowl wins THEN you can STILL qualify as Americas Team, but sorry, Yall may have been the FORMER Americas Team, but since Katrina, the Saints are the NEW Americas Team… I believe the true Definition of “Americas Team” is a team that represents America to the fullest…A team that is full of Integrity and Class, a team that has pulled an entire City and Region out of the Ruins of the Worst disaster in U.S. History, A team who’s owner takes his money and helps others, not flex his pocket book by building a money wasting Stadium that has more problems than the Team itself. A team who’s Players know how to be true professionals…..When I think of the Dallas Cowboys, I think of a Celebrity overrated QB, a Cocky Greedy Owner, Convicts, and Cry Babies……..Sorry, I’m sure in Saints fans eyes, we are Americas Team….If the Cowboys are Americas Team than I’m embarrassed to call myself American. And this has nothing to do with us playing the Cowboys this week…..I just hope we embarrass them like they have embarrassed the NFL as of late….WHO DAT!!!!!!!!

If someone is going to claim their team is “the new America’s Team” based on overreacting to one good season, then they need a little education on what the requirements are.
Teams elligible for America’s Team status would linclude winning franchises like the Steelers, Patriots, Giants, Colts, and even 49ers. All teams with success across multiple decades and all teams with postseason and Super Bowl success.
Saints do not qualify, and will not for quite a long time.

Reel off about 20 consecutive winning seasons, a few dozen playoff victories, and multiple Super Bowls and you might indeed qualify for America’s Team status.

All they have to do is send Roy on a crossing pattern and we’ll see how short his arms get when the Saints safeties come at him.
You can’t talk mess as a receiver when you alligator-arm passes over the middle and run out of bounds to avoid contact.

has anyone else noticed that since roy williams isn’t drawing double coverage he has doubled his production and has become a good part of the offense… and austin is still getting his catches?? but not defenses can’t move coverage to just his side of the field?? oh probably not because half of you rejects on here don’t even watch football and just like to bash on teams that have a shot to make the playoffs because your team isn’t doing shit

I agree/disagree.
I do for some reason believe the Cowboys have a good shot at beating the Saints this coming Saturday night. Yes the Saints are undefeated now but that doesnt mean they beat every team in the league or could . They havent beat the Cowboys and a bunch of other teams so just b/c they havent lost to anyone yet that doesnt mean that their isnt a team out there that can beat them. I just have a feeling the Cowboys will win. Which will get all their fans and people in the media excited. They will all say “look see the Decemeber swoon means nothing this is a totally different Cowboys team”. Then they will start predicting them to win the division and make a run in the playoffs. So thats where I agree.
Where I disagree is I think Williams is out of his mind to think the Cowboys will see the Saints in the playoffs. If they do beat the Saints everyone will do what I said they would do and then the Cowboys will dissappoint all of them and collapse down the strech. I doubt the Cowboys will make the playoffs and even if they do they wont make it past the wildcard round so they will never get a rematch with the Saints. So thats where I disagree.

Roy is right. The Cowboys will win this Saturday. The Saints are struggling. I eamn, c’mon, they almost lost to Chris Redman, while the Cowboys just got unlucky in losing to the Chargers. If Marion Barber gets that half yard, they win by 4 instead of losing by 3 to the second-best team in the AFC. The Saints are way overrated, and have had a ridiculously soft schedule. They get to play the Panthers, Bucs, and Falcons twice, teams that the Cowboys owned this year. If the Cowboys had that schedule, they’d be 13-0 also.
The Cowboys will win the NFC East, get the #3 seed, and beat the Saints or Vikings in the NFC Championship. I wouldn’t be surprised if Cowboys Stadium hosts the NFC Championship Game because those two teams are frauds. The Saints are frauds that wil be exposed and they will be stopped by the Cowboys defense, just like the Cowboys shut down the Chargers, Eagles, and Packers, all supposedly so much better than the Cowboys.

You guys just need to re read what he said. He didn’t say anything that you wouldn’t want someone on your team to say. He wasn’t talking smack at all. He just wasn’t going to admit defeat before they played the game. Did anyone watch the Monday night game? Bad teams beat good teams all the time. I would almost be worried if I were the Saints being such big favorites. That never seems to work out.
