Fitzgerald says he's "sore but straight"

Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald suffered on Monday night a knee injury that sent shock waves through the organization.

But after a trip to the locker room — which might or might not have included a visit from Mr. Miyagi — Fitzgerald was no linger limping, and he actually returned to the game.

He was due to undergo an MRI today.  Though it’s currently not clear that the MRI showed no damage, Fitzgerald said recently on his Twitter page, “I’m sore but I’m straight.”

So unless he was reaffirming his heterosexuality, Fitzgerald’s words can be interpreted as a thumb’s up regarding the knee.

    Love to watch this guy, even when he and Kurt are not on the same page, he’s the best. I would hate to not see him in the postseason, where you can count on a couple of spectacular catches.
