The Carolina Panthers have now lost for the balance of the year both of their starting tackles.
Previously, it was left tackle Jordan Gross. Now, it’s right tackle Jeff Otah.
Otah has landed on injured reserve due to a knee injury he suffered on Sunday at New England.
His roster spot has been filled by Rob Pettiti. Otah’s starting spot will be filled by Geoff Schwartz, who previously is best known for cajoling his young friends to stick their tongues to frozen flag poles. (Yeah, it’s December.)

Wow, sucks losing two recent top draft picks but the Panthers season has been finished for some time now.
Fox should just bench all of his starters and give the younger/other guys experience. Season is over.
Well, looking at the bright side, with Otah out, it’s 2 less false start penalties per game.
Well that answers my “Whatever happened to Rob Pettiti?” question.
DL- maake kemo, louis leonard, tank tyler.
OL- jordan gross, duke robinson, jeff otah.
LB- Thomas davis, landon johnson.
panthers year for the injury bug for sure
Maybe they should call Sandra Bullock and see if she has any large black men at her house?
Not a good sign for the Carolina QB with the Vikings D-line coming to town.
Duck!
By the way, Gross is not a recent draft pick, this was his seventh year in the league.
