Titans' Bulluck named AFC defensive player of the week

After a ten-tackle, two-interception game in a 47-7 win over the St. Louis Rams, Tennessee Titans linebacker Keith Bulluck has been named the AFC defensive player of the week.

Bulluck was aided by playing against Rams quarterback Keith Null, a rookie out of West Texas A&M making his first professional start. Null threw five interceptions overall.

We’ll take it,” Bulluck said after the easy win. “We’ve been on the receiving end of a tail-kicking before, so it’s about time we get this one out this year.”

This is Bulluck’s second career defensive player of the week award. He also received the honor in Week Three of the 2007 season.

Good for him, hell of a player that never has gotten the respect he should have.
