Bruce Allen was good in Oakland because he was running things with Davis…you look at the BUCS when it was just ALLEN and Gruden…Enuff Said….
Allen will be in DC but not with Chuckie….then you all will no go great Bruce Allen is not at talent evaluation..

I do not get the necessity of the Rooney rule. It seems like it just makes a team go through the motions of thinking about hiring minority candidates, despite the team having already made their conclusions prior to the process. Can someone explain to me how this is helpful?

He won a Super Bowl with Dungy’s team against his old team which he built, the Raiders. Who incidently have fallen completely apart since Gruden left. In 2002, Gruden owned the NFL.

its so stupid that the redskins have to “interview” a minority candidate to comply with the rooney rule. the right person for the job is the right person for the job, whether a minority candidate gets interviewed.

Bruce Allen said he will NOT work with Shanny, so all signs point to Gruden. (Who just happened to arrive in DC two days earlier than he was scheduled to, to cover the MNF game this week.)

These losers just can’t get it right. Gruden sucks, and so does Allen for that matter. What did Tampa do with Gruden? He won a Super Bowl with Dungy’s team (the season after Dungy was fired). After that?? Nada!! When Allen and Gruden worked together, the only thing they did was accumulate crappy QBs who couldn’t play, and they left a MESS to where Tampa is on their way to a 1-15 season.
