The Colts have now made seven fourth quarter comebacks this season after beating the Jaguars 35-31 on Thursday night.
Said Colts coach Jim Caldwell, "From a defense standpoint, our guys hung in there. Maybe we didn't take care of our gaps in the first half or tackle, but in the second half we began to shore things up a bit, and when it really counted, in the fourth quarter, we found a way to get it done."
Colts QB Peyton Manning completed his first 13 passes on his way to 308 yards and four touchdowns.
KR Chad Simpson's 93-yard kickoff return touchdown was the Colts' first kick return of more than 40 yards this season.
DT Eric Foster had a pair of sacks, while the Colts offensive line didn't allow Manning to be sacked at all.
For the second straight week, Jaguars QB David Garrard wasn't able to lead his team to the fourth quarter score they needed to pull out a victory.
Vinnie Iyer of the Sporting News thinks Thursday night's game made it clear the Jaguars need to juice up their pass rush in the offseason.
Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew posted 199 all-purpose yards and scored two touchdowns.
Said Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio of the game-winning touchdown by Colts WR Reggie Wayne, "The biggest thing we didn't want to do was give anything cheap over the top. That one at the end hurt."
The Jaguars placed FB Greg Jones on injured reserve before Thursday night's game.

Last night Peyton Manning once again showed why he should be this year's MVP. Brees & Favre would probably win it any other season but #18 is just playing at such a high level - best player in the NFL & I'm not a Colts fan.
Are you going to go out on a witch hunt for the next week on Reggie Nelson? His "pathetic" attemt to defend Reggie Waynes TD was an embarrassment to the sport.
As bad as the defense played in this game and every game this year, the offensive did give us a sign of what could be. I was excited to finally see our offense look like and NFL offense. I feel confident Gene Smith is will address and correct the defensive issues starting with Reggie Nelson. This game has excited and reassured me with some changes here and there we are heading in the right direction. Let's go Gene, we're counting on YOU this offseason.
