Falcons are close to beating the storm

As it turns out, the Falcons apparently will be making it to New Jersey with plenty of time to spare.

Falcons Director of New Media Daniel Levak tells us, Twitter style, that the team’s plane will land at Newark International Airport within the hour.  They play the Jets on Sunday afternoon at the Meadowlands.

“We’re told we’ll just beat the real blustery stuff,” Levak said.

And somewhere in New Jersey Carl Spackler is telling a golfer, “I don’t think the heavy stuff’s gonna come down for quite a while.”

I’m surprised no one had mentioned the fact that if Atlanta loses this game — they’ll continue the trend of never having back to back winning seasons

Love the Carl Spackler reference…classic. Baltimore area is getting hammered right now. Still, worst stuff yet to come.

it started here in Central Va about 6pm Friday and its still snowing at 3pm so I would expect the same 20hrs + of constant snow for everyone on the east coast

If the aero-plane had severe turbulence Jonathan Babineaux would still be m-e-l-l-o-w while Eric Weems’ flask supply would keep him calmer than a snowman in a cave in Antarctica.

Chuck Norris beat up a storm like this when he was an infant.
