The snow storm pelting the East Coast has already delayed two games, and changed some travel plans.
As of Saturday afternoon, no further problems are expected for two Northeast games scheduled for 1 PM ET.
The Patriots announced they arrived in Buffalo on time Saturday evening. The Bills and Patriots will play late in the season in Buffalo for a second straight year in some wild conditions.
The Jets-Falcons game is also going off at 1PM ET as planned.
The storm hasn’t hit New York City in force yet, and snowfall is expected to end before the game starts. 10-15 inches are expected in East Rutherford, NJ. by Sunday morning, which isn’t as bad as the NFL cities to its South in Baltimore and Philadelphia.
And thus ends our latest Stormwatch 2009 update. I’m just happy Florio didn’t make me report from the local Home Depot.

I’m disappointed. At least have a big fan going so it makes you look like you’re in a blizzard.

I am just outside St. Louis (Earth City) but I think I speak for the northern East Coast when I say F%$# YOU!!!!
Wild conditions? Ugh, it’s going to be 30 degrees, there is no snow on the ground in most of the Buffalo metro area and the wind wil be about normal, ie, not a big deal.
So please, PFT, explain to me your understanding of weather and the actual geographic location of Buffalo compared the areas actually getting blasted.
1. Last years NE@BUF game was awesome. I miss the adventures of Matt Cassel and the playoffnots.
2. “Al Gore-leone” I loled
3. Lindsey Soto looks good when cold.
4. I’m pissed they gotta play Adailius Thomas tomorrow. I can’t wait until he turns into a fifth round pick.
5. NO is playing like Dallas. I hate Dallas.
I’d like to thank the good people at blue moon for making this post possible
