Edwards carted off after brief appearance

Trent Edwards’ return to field for Buffalo didn’t last long.

Trailing 17-3 to start the fourth quarter, the Bills decided to bench starting quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick.

That benching was short lived.  Edwards entered the game, went three-and-out, and trainers examined his foot on the sideline.

Edwards was carted to the locker room a short time later.

Fitzpatrick, who was held under 100 yards for two straight starts before Sunday, is back in the game.  Buffalo’s offensive line has given up six sacks and countless hits to the Buffalo quarterbacks.

    Good.
Edwards is more fragile than glass. The guy hasn’t improved in three seasons.

Fitzpatrick sucks…Edwards has potential but will never reach his full capabilities in Buffalo, almost like any other player that is on the team. Go Bills… it will happen- someday?

It seemed like Edwards was dogging it out there.
