Saints running back Reggie Bush left Saturday night’s 24-17 loss to the Cowboys after injuring his leg during a 16-yard reception in the second quarter. He did not return.
On Monday, coach Sean Payton said that Bush has a “mild” hamstring injury.
“I expect him to work this week,” Payton said in remarks distributed by the team. “It wasn’t anything real severe. We’ll see on Wednesday.”
The Saints host the Buccaneers on Sunday. They need one win to lock up the No. 1 seed in the NFC.

Mmmm, creamy hamstrings.
Bush has long had problems with his back too. What with the yellow streak up it and all.
