Texans-Rams one-liners

QB Matt Schaub threw for 367 yards and became the first 4,000-yard passer in Texans history during the 16-13 victory.

Four different Texans had catches of 20 or more yards, and WR Andre Johnson had four catches of at least 30 yards.

Texans K Kris Brown’s field goal with 3:31 left provided the margin of victory and broke his string of missing key kicks this season.

Texans RB Arian Foster fumbled to end the team’s first possession of the game and never returned to the field after the turnover.

Jerome Solomon of the Houston Chronicle thinks that the Texans win left much too be desired.

Said Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo of the loss, “Tough, tough, tough. The guys battled. It’s a three-point game. Doesn’t
matter, they had one more point than we did, and we end up with a loss.
Very disappointed, but very, very proud. After everything we went
through this week and being a little short-handed with injuries and
whatnot, the guys were out there battling.”

Rams WR Danny Amendola scored his first NFL touchdown on a pass from QB Keith Null.

Rams RB Steven Jackson ran for 82 yards and said he’ll continue to play despite an ailing back and a bad team because he loves football.

Bernie Miklasz of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch is impressed by how hard the Rams played on Sunday.

In his second Rams start, Null completed 18 of 27 passes for 173 yards and a touchdown.

Gary Kubiak is a horrible coach…absolutely ridiculous to pull his running backs as he did with Foster this week and prior weeks with Moats-Slaton due to one fumble.
Coach these kids up before the game and you wouldn’t have to worry about that shit Kubiak…
