Generally speaking, it’s not a good idea to root for the road team in most NFL stadiums. It’s particularly risky in places like Philadelphia.
And nothing heightens the potential peril like the products of a snowstorm.
Don’t believe us? Just ask these 49ers fans who opted to wear Michael Crabtree and Patrick Willis jerseys to Sunday’s game against the Eagles.
They were probably stabbed in the parking lot afterwards.
What’s that guy in front of the camera wearing, a plaid beachball ??? Typical kevin-from-philly attire.
looks like they need a jail and courtroom in this stadium as well…what a crap city…
What do you expect? They gave Vick the Ed Brock award!
Typical.
yeah…Philly fans are awesome!!! Detect the sarcasm….
What a bunch of losers.
Maybe they should be throwing the snowballs at McNabb
Would you expect anything less than Eagles fans? They are the biggest pieces of shit to walk the earth.
That just show what little class the fans in Philadelphia have. People have a right to root for whatever team they choose. They paid for the tickets just like the Eagles fans.
If your dumb enough to wear the jerseys, then you deserve any ass kicking you receive. Sometimes a rear end drilling is needed, just on principle.
Typical lazy reporting. It happened in DC, Baltimore, and the Meadowlands too.
LMAO! That’s right, don’t come into our city and try to disrespect us! I’m sure those idiots were running their mouths when they THOUGHT the 9ers were coming back…..they got what they deserved.
One thing about games that I’ve been to, if you keep your mouth shut and don’t get too excited for the road team, you’ll be left alone. Heckled a bit, but for the most part left alone.
Big shock. This is the same city that booed a possibly-paralyzed Michael Irvin off the field after the final play of his career.
Pathetic.
Not scene in this video is Gov. Ed Rendell betting a guy $20 if he could hit those two fans from this high.
Funny, I don’t remember this much attention being paid to the beer bottles being thrown at DeSean Jackson at the Meadowlands 2 weeks ago.
Are you f’ing serious Florio? Do you EVER SEE WHAT THE F’ING FANS OF OTHER TEAMS DO OR DO YOU JUST CARE ABOUT PHILLY FANS???????? Does anyone have any idea when the “snowballs at Santa” happened? It was in the freaking 1960′s and the so called santa was some drunken 20ish idiot…..GET OVER IT.
Been to a lot of games in Philly, and something like this easily happens when the opposing fans beg for trouble, especially in a snow covered field.
I’m not justifying it, but I’ll bet anything these two were doing their best to get pelted.
Good for those that gave em their wish.
Anyone else want some? Jetfro lot, upper level, wear your out of town colors, be obnoxious and see if you can top those two morons
It’s Philthadelphia, could anybody expect anything less of the dirtbags? They’re proud of being some of the dirtiest and worst fans in the country. They are the only fans I’ve heard of that were so bad, the stadium needed a jail cell and a judge to arrest and try the dirtbags on every given Sunday. Nothing like a stadium full of drunken idiots with a gang mentallity.
That’s awesome! And I hate Philly and their fans!
Stay classy Phladelphia. Wonder how many batteries the neanderthals who call themselves Eagles fans were able to pack into those snowballs?
With that said, having seen my Patriots play the second game ever at the Linc in 2003, and having been to many a Red Sox game in Philly, you have to be an IDIOT to wear anything that will make you stand out at an Eagles game. Absolutely stupid.
It’s not like Philly fans don’t have the well earned reputation of being the most hostile, knuckle dragging violent neanderthals in the entire USA. Not saying these knuckleheads deserved it, but there is no way that was going to turn out well, whether the 49ers won or lost.
That video is wwwwwwaaaaaaayyyyyyy out of context. I am a season ticket holder in 136 and this happened in 135……the guy in the Steelers jacket was given the old double barrel Bud Adams to the entire section….pointing to his Steelers Champs hat and yelling losers……So he got what he deserved….and he was laughing through the whole thing……The Crabtree and Willis guy started throwing snowballs and got pissed when the entire section was throwing crap back….
Listen I know the fans get outta hand and crazy in Philly during games, but the same stuff happens everywhere…..I have been to Cleveland in my eagles jersey and been hit with stuff and beer dumped on me. Same as DC and Giants stadium….Some people are just stupid, but to continually label Eagles fans as the worse in the league is unfair and biased.
That’s great! We are the best at defending our turf. If you’re gonna wear the other teams jersey, we will make you pay for it. It’s called home field for a reason. Don’t think this doesn’t happen in other cities too, idiots. Ever been to a white trash Ravens game?
this is incredible. You guys ever hear that interview of skip bayless on a local philly radio show? That “interviewer” was just bashing skip saying that philly fans get a bad rap because of the media and they have moved on from their terrible ways. Philly fans still suck and will always suck. here’s the audio. I’m not saying Skip is awesome or always right but he (and every other media outlet outside philly) is totally justified. That radio host needs to eat a bag of hairy dicks.

I was sitting at that game in section 224 wearing a Jason Witten jersey. It was awesome, I came back from the concession stand with 1:20 left in the first half and was massively booed by three entire sections. I was expected to be pelted with snowballs, but the crowd decided to launch projectiles and try to hit the 49ers bench and/or the refs.
Well said Steve…..
typical scumbad philly fans at work…deport them all to Mexico as they do not deserve to live in this free country of ours…
Hey morons. This country is all about free speech you aholes. You cant take a guy rooting for the visiting team then f all you morons as you are a bunch of losers.
This video has pumped me up for my boys to put a huge asskicking on this org and win that division. Actually, Andy Reid looks like a huge fing snowball.
LOL.
I like the guy in the green santa hat, just lobs one as they are leaving.
Too funny.
Snowballs?!?! Big deal. I remember a Browns-Steelers game in the 80′s at the old Cleveland Stadium where i walked into the restroom to find a Squeeler fan face down, either passed out or knocked out, in the urinal trough and Browns fans happily relieveing themselves on him like he wasnt even there…………man i miss the days when the Browns were good.
Where’s Paul Blart when you need him?
OH NOES THEY GOT HIT WITH SNOWBALLS! THE HORROR!
Suck it up. This comes with the territory.
Whether you guys want to admit it or not, this type of thing happens EVERYWHERE because there are ignorant fans of every franchise. More specifically, there are ignorant PEOPLE everywhere.
Its called home field advantage and it happens, toughen up bitches.

You are a typical white trash inbred scumbag Eagles fan.
That’s some top notch security there. 1:29 video and I never saw a security guard enter the screen. So much for the NFL’s fan conduct policies, huh? I use to live up north. It’s the lack of vitamin D. By January I was suicidal dreaming about a beach or playing golf somwhere warm. They really can’t help themselves. Animal instincts take over. Now whoever heads up security in there should be pelted to death by those to fans. That’s only fair.

THE GUY WAS A COKEHEAD AND AN ASSHOLE. IF HE DIED ON THE FIELD, I WOULDA THROWN A PARTY IN THE STANDS. eagles fans are assholes but only to people that deserve the wrath.
And the security guard was watching this whole thing!? The guard needs to be fired!!
I recall going to Buffalo Bills game on Monday Night when they were playing against the defending World Champion Washington Redskins (yea they beat the Bills in Super Bowl the previous year) and I saw one Bills fan threw a coffee cansister onto the Redskins’ fan and hot cocoa spilled on the fan. His wife went directly for the guard and two of them came out then investigated the case. Some fans pointed out who threw the cansister and the guards went to that guy to remove him and his buddies from the game. Then guards gave the ‘skins fans two hot dogs and two hot cocoa free of charge. That, at least, showed some class!!
Geeeezzz!!!
I love it, and I agree with a few others on here. If you wear those jersey’s in another team’s stadium, you have to expect something like that. If you don’t want that to happen, don’t wear those jerseys there.
And as a cards fan, I would have liked to get one in too.

You’re an idiot for going to a 49ers/Eagles game wearing a bandwagon Cowboys jersey in the first place.
Who does that? Honestly!
Sure, pile on Philly fans. Obviously the people throwing the snowballs are idiots and they should be punished. But we’re talking about at most a few dozen idiots in a stadium of 70,000 people. And this happens at Giants stadium and other places as well. In Cleveland, they throw freaking dog biscuits at people including the opposing team.
How about you post a video of the Giants fans throwing an iceball during the coin toss and fracturing a chargers coach’s skull.
philly fans think that sh*t is funny….stay classy philly.
This is just another great example why Filthy-delphia has been and ALWAYS will be a second rate city, with a second rate team, and second rate fans….You dream of being NY or LA but you will never be….Enjoy those no Superbowl rings Iggles fans…..

Where in hell is security?

Southern hospitality goes right out the window…or I guess it goes right out the hole in the roof….well…first it bounces off the retarded big ass TV, then off Jerry Jones’ forehead… then out of the ig hole in the roof
Yeah, this is what happens in Philly. They love their team to an extent that interferes with normal cognitive function. Remember the first time the Cowboys played in Philly after Michael Irvin’s career-ending injury? Hundreds of fans had Michael Irvin dolls hanging from little gallows. It’s just the kind of people these folks are. Ain’t it cute?

Philly fans are idiots.
I would be bitter too if my team had 0 rings. Too bad the Niners have 5!
Philadelphia would have a Super Bowl if McNabb had
the aim of half of those fans throwing snowballs.
Go Niners!
boysroll, Is that some homosexual code name?
Theres some free speech for ya, douche’
try going to a flyers game as a fan of another team….the treatment is much worse
My only regret is that I was on the side of the stadium where the snow had melted. Philly is the best city in the world.
Philadelphians = Trash…
HOW’D YOU LIKE MR. RONDE BARBER PUTTING THE NAIL IN THE VET’s COFFIN IN 2003?? LOL. PHILLY SUCKS
Maybe if some of those people throwing snowballs had been playing QB for Philly these last few years, maybe the Eagles would have won a SB by now.
Those throws were way more accurate than anything you see from McNabb.
LOL…Wonder if it was pure stuipidity or just bravado. Dont care what stadium it is, you can expect to get crap (beer dump, snowballs, etc) from the home fans if your wearing the enemy’s colors, its a given, it should be expected….DUH
Eagles fans are as courageous as Vick. If they had to face these guys one on one, they would probably piss their pants. But hey, the Eagle fans should be forgiven for their mistakes right ? I guess not 49er fans though.
What you didn’t see was that the Niners fans came up and gave eveyone a snow face washing. Then they made them all lick metal and they are still stuck to their seats.
Igglesfan,
You mean to say the 49ers fans threw snowball consistently and got it back in similar manner?? I find that difficult to believe! I would find it hilarious if they got pelted some and there because it is just a snowball.. but consistently for more than a min?? Don’t you think that is a little too much? The fans did say they had enough but did philly fans stop? no! I’m pretty sure that after getting what they deserved and letting everybody know they had enough, they would stay quiet and do nothing until the game is over!
Let the Eagle hate comments continue! Honestly, fans from other teams should get the hint by now… BEWARE! STAY AWAY FROM THE LINC IF YOU ARE ROOTING FOR A TEAM OTHER THAN THE EAGLES!!! STAY YOUR ASS @ HOME OR GET TICKETS TO YOUR OWN HOME STADIUM!! EVEN SANTA GOT BEAT-UP @ PHILLY! LMAO!
oooh i would love to see these punk ass philly fans do that to me and my boys if we rolled up into the linc in our pats jerseys fresh with the superbowl 39 patch on it!!!!.. what a bunch of punks!!
Aren’t they classy?!!! I guess that’s what happens when you just can’t win the big one. Hail!!
Maybe they deserved it or maybe they didn’t. I wasn’t there.
The people I feel sorry for are the ones that had the misfortune of sitting near them.
Who cares. If you know this is going to happen, why bother posting it? Particularly when nothing was said about beer bottles lobbed at D-Jack. Opposing teams have more than the fans to worry about at the Linc…they have to actually beat the Eagles, who are one of the hottest teams in the NFL right now.
Real Philly fans would’ve stuffed the snowballs with batteries…
Philly fans are all sub-human scum.
They deserve to all be put in pit and poke with sharp sticks.
We should drop a nuclear device on philadelphia..the only thing stopping us is that philly fans arent worth the cost of it.
How dare they throw frozen water vapor at those fine upstanding citizens of San Francisco.
You are falling down on the job, Florio. No mention of the “snowballs at Santa” incident back in the 60′s. I like how nobody ever mentions that the team pulled a fan out of the stands and had them walk around because their real Santa was sick (or was it they were too too cheap to hire one?). Or that he was drunk. Or that the team sucked that year. Or anything else besides the fact that the fans threw snow at Santa.
That being the case, my brother-in-law is a Cowboys fan, and I am afraid of ever taking him to the Linc.
Wearing a rival teams jersey & getting snowballs thrown at you…WOW!
This has never happened in Green Bay, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Cleveland…etc…etc…
Keep up the good work, we’re all rooting for you.
I went to Philly wearing my Saints jersey in week #2, tailgated for 6 hours before the game outside the stadium, and the worst I heard was some azz making a lame Katrina joke, once inside the stadium Sec 113, row 9, the place was like Disneyworld! Half the stadium was gone by the end of the third quarter! If opposing azzhole fans run their mouth, they get what they deserve— in any stadium…. Philly just has a sick sense of humor about them!
What a joke! Niners fans must be bigger wimps than I thought. Should have busted some azz. Philly fans….bunch of one punchers! Like to see them try that with a couple of Vikings fans. Green and white and red all over. Punks.
We’ll take them. We need people to work the cornfields. No snow there!
This is why I hope they never win a super bowl, the fans don’t deserve it. The same could be said for vikings fans. I went to a game in the metrodome for a vikes giants game and my friend in his giants jersey was treated worse than this. When I stopped to get gas as we left, a couple more of these goons tried to start a fight with me in the gas station because I was wearing a packers hat. Oh yeah, and drunk vikings fans set a female friend’s hair and jacket on fire with a torch once because she is a packers fan, its true and they were thankfully convicted. I know there are civil and uncivil fans for each team but philly and minnie seem to have more than their fair share of the violent thugs.
wow, how classy. sure this kind of thing goes on everywhere but that doesn’t make it right. if i was told of the situation without seeing the video, i would’ve guessed it was in pittsburgh. apparently pennsylvania is just filled with awful football fans
Whoa, whoa, whoa. It seems like everyone on here has the TMZ.com mentality. Allow me to provide a little perspective. My dad works security at the home games with his retired cop buddies. The Niner fans encouraged the onslaught of snowballs, and he said they were good sports about it. Fans were allowed to toss snowballs at each other, but anyone who tossed a snowball near the field was ejected. After the snowball fight died down, the Niner fans were escorted by Apex security to have their seats upgraded to the club suites. Happy now?
And by the way, weren’t more than a few snowballs thrown at the Jets-Falcons game at the Falcons players on the field? Funny how no video evidence exists of that.
Is this a surprise to anyone? These are the worst fans in all of proffesional sports, from booing their own QB in the 1st quarter on multiple occassions, to throwing snowballs at Santa, batteries at fans, booing a nearly paralyzed Irvin, booing a motionless Jose Reyes, to organizing a mob to murder someone who happened to be cheering against the Phillies in the CBP parking lot just this year.
Those are just the stories to come to the top of my head at the moment any research and you could write a book on this scum-inhabitated city. They don’t deserve a team or any professional team for that matter, they need to be treated like the animals that they are. Oh yeah, go award Vick the Ed Brock award while you’re at it! Classless moves by the classless human beings they are. If anyone deserves coal this christmas it’s Eagles’ fans, no question.
Philly fans are great. Going to an Eagles game wearing that Niner crap is deserving of a beat down all by itself. Besides, the dumb azz niner fans had on hardhats for hell sakes, what did they expect?
I don’t see anyone bombarding Santa this year, looks like they’ve become a little more discriminating in Philadelphia.
Bottom line – don’t antagonize and you’ll be alright. It’s called home field advantage and I’m sure opposing teams would rather play in SF where the fans are too busy with their wine and cheese, and admiring the men in tight pants to get involved with the game.
what a disgrace of a city…total sh*thole….
Next time I’m in D.C. foar a game wearing my McNabb jersey, I’ll film my experience and give you an exclusive…
well at least you out-of-town writers will have a snowball reference that involves real people that you can whine about for the next 40 years.
officials had to stop a game early in cleveland cuz the fans wouldn’t stop throwing beer bottles at them, cincinnati fans cheer when their own QB got hurt, you can get stabbed at a raiders game, giants fans can throw bottles at desean jackson/take out san diego’s equipment manager with ice balls, and a player once have his career ended after being hit in the face with a size D battery (san diego?). but we are the bad guys cuz we hurled some snowballs at niner fans. good thing that low-hanging fruit saved your otherwise slow news day florio..
“If you wear those jersey’s in another team’s stadium, you have to expect something like that. If you don’t want that to happen, don’t wear those jerseys there.”
Absolutely wrong. If you pay what it costs to get in you should be able to wear your team’s jersey without having to be afraid of being attacked.
I’ve been to 7 or 8 games at Gillette Stadium the last few years, and while the Pats fans will make good natured jokes with the opposing team fans, I’ve never seen anyone pelted or beaten up simply for cheering for the other team in their colors.
WTF it costs so much to go to these games, people should be able to cheer for their team and not have to worry about it.
oh my god. Will the homers just shut the hell up on here. People have a right to speak their mind. Philly fans need to take a chill pill. I know its been awhile since you actually won anything, but calm down so noone gets hurt.
Why in the hell should a fan be afraid to wear his team’s jersey in another stadium, and why should that person “expect” to get things dumped on or thrown at him/her? I don’t get it, you jackasses who said things like that.
Why can’t someone come into your stadium and be able to cheer for their team wearing their colors? As long as people are respectful and don’t get violent or vulgar, they should be able to have a good time and cheer for their team. If someone goes over the line, you now can send a text and security will come to take care of it.
I have been to a few games in Philly and in Cleveland. Cleveland was really bad, and Philly was not far behind. One of my friends had someone spit on the back of his Steeler jersey in Philly, and didn’t know it until he got home and took it off.
As a Steeler fan that goes to several games a year in Heinz field, and have been able to go to games since the early 90′s, I can honestly say that visiting fans should generally feel very safe going there and cheering their heads off. Every game there are opposing fans sitting around me. Other than good-natured barbs at times, these fans wear their team’s colors and cheer without being terribly harrassed or having things thrown at them.
I remember one game about 4 years ago against the Bengals. The Steelers lost and there was a solitary couple from the Bengals sitting in a sea of Steeler fans around me in the end zone. The lady had one of the loudest screeching irritating voices I ever heard and every play she screamed “who dey”. Nobody threw drinks at her. I am not saying things don’t happen everywhere and probably even in Pittsburgh, but I don’t think it’s the norm like it seems to be in Philly.
I don’t know why some of think it is acceptable or justified to do that to others that don’t incite things. Cheering and wearing team colors is not a justification for physical harrassment. You are idiots that say it is deserve the same thing to happen to you and your family.
Get a life and have some respect for others.
Those people paid good money to go to that game, and THEY had to be taken out to calm the masses? What a disgrace. Round up the people throwing the snowballs, no matter how many there are. Those 9ers fans should not have to suffer because a whole section (or stadium) of jackoffs.
Karma is a bitch, Philly. You WILL fail in the playoffs again, just like you do every damn year, and you will deserve it.
the only folks who CAN defend this are Philly fans…pathetic. city of brotherly love??? perhaps they were referring to the man on man type!
hey Philly fan, what are you so protective of? I mean why do you LOVE your horrific city so much? Why do you continue to live there? Seriously. What is in Philly worth anything?
Must be the regional beauty? And lack of Crime/Safety? Some stupid cracked bell? Awesome weather? Cmon, Philly actually makes NJ and Cleve look like a Corona commercial.
So, do us all a favor Philly fan, stay put. Since your town is sooo awesome, don’t leave your wonderful city for vacation or travel for any reason, just stay put in your filth and keep your brotherly love to yourselves.
Obviously its kind of trashy, but at least they care about their team unlike all the Dallas bandwagoners at that amusement park of a stadium.
FLORIO you are an idiot sir, it has already been reported this is a fake, did you watch the video yet?? Fing idiot. Do some research.
Another Classless spetecle from a classless city. I hate philly fans in my town they are the loudest, drunkest, and FATTEST slobs around. The worst are actually the women fans, they are very fat and can name 2-3 players on the team max!

What a terrible, terrible loss it was that your dad didn’t decide to give your mom a rear end drilling instead of concieving you, its understandable though, she had other customers to serve, and he had to get outta that truckstop and back on the road.
Are other people jealous of our fans excitement for football? I cant apologize for the zealous passion philly fans bring every sunday. But i can disregard the media and simpleminded fools for labeling philly fans as dumb, i gnorant neanderthals. Those comments should be reserved for us. Those loud mouthed assclowns got what they deserved for heckling an entire section of fans. Ya know what? Dont come to a game next time when it snows. Or rains for that matter. You dont want to get splashed by a crazy eagles fan.
Pretty classless. Have been to multiple games over the years. As a Cowboys fan, Ive seen games in Dallas, & several other venues, including Washington. Never seen it that bad. Most recently was at the Skins game in Dallas. There were quite a few skins fans in attendance. They were teased but nothing like that…!
Ive been teased but never threatened, or abused by home team fans. Imagine taking you kids to a game & being treated like that…?!
For those stating they deserved it by wearing visiting team apparel into the home teams stadium…. you guys are pathetic.
I think fans should be aggresively prosecuted for assaulting other fans at sports venues. Its one thing to support your team. Quite another to take it this far, and start assaulting opposing fans…..
Being a life long Eagles fan it warms My heart to see the love shown to those 49′er fans.Who says we ONLY throw snowballs at Santa.
Lazy reporting at it’s finest.
Bravo Florio!
Go find other teams that have done similar or worse to opposing fans / teams.
There are plenty of incidents throughout the league.
Just to name a few:
How about the “bottle gate” in Cleveland?
How about the fans and Shaun Ellis with the snow/ice?
Hey DaBills, talk about class…when was the last time your own flipped the bird again? I forget.
As the holder of two MMA title belts, a 31-0 record, with 28 of those fights ending in either knock-out or submission.. I’d love to take a trip to Philly the next time my team plays the Eagles.. along with a few of the fighters that train at my MMA studio! It’s only a matter of time before assh*les like these meet someone who doesn’t/won’t put up with their sh*t!! These are the same sh*t heads that are REAL tough when they out number a group 3 to 1.. but as soon as the first one in their group is laying on the ground unconscious, none of them step up to be the second one!! And inevitably, these same “tough guys” are the first one’s to cry to the police and press charges in court!! You want to act tough? Take your ass kicking and be done with it.. don’t do some p*ssy sh*t and take the other person to court.. you played, you PAID!! Keep throwing snowballs Philly fans.. you’ll know when the day comes.. you can find us at the end of the trail of unconscious bodies, snapped elbows, and broken noses.. Happy Holidays! [=
Most of you sound like little girls or Jack Buck (interchangeable).
They were snowballs and niner fans deserve it.
You know what? I’m a Bronco fan and my team is about to come to Philly this Sunday. I won’t be attending the game but if I did, I wouldn’t wear any Bronco attire for sure! Here’s my take on Philly fans….I LOVE THEM! They’re crazy about their team and that’s awesome. Why on Earth would you fault the Philly fans for being boisterous about the Eagles? That’s how it’s supposed to be. When a team comes into Denver, I want it to be a total house of horrors for both the the players and that team’s fans. I’m not talking anything over the line…and yeah, throwing snowballs is a bit over the line, but heckle and taunt all you want. When the Broncos come there on Sunday, I expect the Philly fans to give them a hard time. It’s the Broncos’ job to quiet the crowd as it is with any visiting team. For those of you who can’t respect tradition rich football cities like Philly, Denver, Pittsburgh, Green Bay, etc., I’m sorry for you. You’re missing out. I’m sorry you chose to root for the Lions, Bengals, Cardinals, and the Titans….teams that will always have fair weather fans win or lose. Look at the bright side though….whether your team goes 3-13 or deep into the playoffs, the losses will feel the same to you since you really don’t care that much to begin with.
JOE Buck. Sorry Jack.

Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
Wkheathjr, good story ,but it didn’t happen. The Redskins beat the Bills in SB XXVI following ’91 season.
In ’92 NFC East played the AFC West. You’re probably thinking of ’93 when NFC East did play AFC East.
And if these Philly guys think they are so good at protecting their “turf”, why don’t these courageous young men sign up for a tour of duty in Afghanistan to help protect an even bigger piece of turf? I’m sure their toughness would really come out in a theater such as war.
Or maybe not.

That being the case, my brother-in-law is a Cowboys fan, and I am afraid of ever taking him to the Linc.
If that’s the case, you either:
a. Married into a family of douchebags or
b. Watched your sister marry a douchebag.
Either way, it leads me to conclude that YOU are a douchebag.
That video is a masterpiece to be treasured. The guy sitting three seats to the right is even lobbing snow on the SF guys. If they were so upset, they would have gone after that kid. The video is hysterical – lighten up.
I had season tix in 700 level of the vet. People don’t get this type of treatment without asking for it.
I would sue the crap out of the Eagles for that lame ass security.
No wonder people stop going to games.
Total disgrace.
“Obviously its kind of trashy, but at least they care about their team unlike all the Dallas bandwagoners at that amusement park of a stadium.”
Yes, ” caring about their team” completely justifies assault on paying customers.
One can only hope Dallas fans show their love for their team when philthy comes to town in a couple of weeks.
You, sir are a prime example of no class and no morality and no firing synapses. . If opposing fans have no right to wear their jerseys, philly fans should do the same when visiting other teams.
Now sit down and shut up, school boy.
I as big a Packer fan as you’d ever meet. I drove 4 hours by myself to get to the 03 Divisional Game between the Pack and the Eagles.
I wore no Packer gear.
The Packers got up 14-0. I said nothing.
When Fred Ex caught the 4th and 26 pass…I stood there and Eagles fans hugged me, thinking I was one of them. I watched the rest of the game in the Concourse.
Lesson: as sweet as road victories are to see live, it’s not worth going to in a place like Philly.
haha, people need to understand that going to an Eagles game is different than any other city…The patrons are equivalent to ones you see in a strip club..
Would you take your wife and kids to a “scrip club” ?
No…so get over it Florio.
don’t mess with Andy Reid’s favorite player…

Seriously. What is in Philly worth anything?
————————————————
Comcast headquarters. They now own majority interest in NBC. So, in effect, you’re an avid fan of a website whose decision-making nucleus is located in Philadelphia. Thanks for supporting our community!
Passionate fan or not, what it comes down to is that NFL tickets cost a good chunk of money, and those niners fans paid for those seats.
It’s pretty simple logic, you pay money for a seat at an nfl game, regardless of the team you root for, the team has a responsbility for you to be able to enjoy the game without being assaulted.
Throwing a few verbal jabs and giving opposing fans in the stands is one thing, when you are literally bombarding them with hundreds of snowballs it’s another thing completely.
The fact that you can see a security guy in the video makes it even more obscene. The team should be disciplined and the security guard should be fired.
This is just one more example of why an NFL game is no longer a place for families, and (even though i’m still reasonably young and don’t have a family) just one more reason I don’t go to games anymore.
I don’t see this one going away without Roger having something to say about it.
I was in section 206, the whole thing was good natured and fun. Hell some of the guards were in on the action….
However, have you ever been to Frisco? I mean they throw vaseline jars and empty azt bottles…..
Absolutely hysterical. People need a sense of humor in this country nowadays. If you wear a road teams jersey to any big sports stadium you have to expect this. If you cant deal with it then stay home and watch it on tv.

wow, how classy. sure this kind of thing goes on everywhere but that doesn’t make it right. if i was told of the situation without seeing the video, i would’ve guessed it was in pittsburgh. apparently pennsylvania is just filled with awful football fans
no, not at all. I hate the Steelers, but I have to admit, Pittsburgh is a great place to see a game as a fan of the visitng team. I have not been and would not go to philly. i have been to pirates and steelers games wearing my teams jerseys. sure they call me a loser, say you suck, etc. but never for a moment have i felt threatened. i do root for the penguins, and this past year went to game 3 of the finals, with my red Wings fan friend, he in his Yzerman jersey. It was great, they said lots of things to him, and some to me saying i need a better friend, but nothing disrespectful.
now, in the video, we dont know if they were being obnoxious etc. if they were flipping people off, or throwing snowballs, then they deserved it for being stupid.
From a Titans season ticket holder, couple points…we hosted the Dolphins Sunday afternoon; their fans travel well and infested most sections of LP Field. Aside from the “smoke another joint, Ricky Williams!” and “hey, that was a buzz kill!” shouts (after we delivered a few good stops) there wasn’t any real home field fan hatred for the opposing team’s fans. Never is, even when the arch-rival Bolts and Ms. Manning visit..
Flashback to the Steelers – Titans game last December. The Steelers fan in attendance were all assholes, waving their yellow toilet papers and generally being obnoxious. There might’ve been some payback, but not enough. So, I’m smiling just a bit watching this.
Oh, and what are these ‘snowballs‘ of which you speak? )
“I would sue the crap out of the eagles for their lame ass security.”
lol sweet frivolous lawsuit you have here, hope you don’t have all your pennies saved up for that there tactic, because you’re not making it past finding a lawyer.
@Dutch: Actually, my wife’s sister married a doucebag.
But I didn’t need you to tell me that.
Philly fans are at least becoming more civilized, they used to throw batteries, boo possibly paralyzed players, and also booed the first hand transplant recipient for throwing out a poor first pitch. This time was only snow. What a great city.
Garbage city, garbage people. Look at all the lowbrows justifying what amounts to assault. I’ve been to the Vet and the Linc wearing Cowboys gear and all those brave souls could manage to do was yell from a distance, never once did anybody that was near me have anything at all to say. Then again there was no snow. Kinda like these people, snowballs are coming in from several rows away, but the lowbrows in the immediate vicinity aren’t doing much of anything, and why? Because they’re afraid to take a straight-up ass-kicking. Drunken cowardly lowbrows that can’t handle their beer. You deserve that garbage city and garbage team.
I wonder if Florio knows that giving opposing fans a bunch of trash talk hppens in EVERY stadium. I don’t condone the snowballs, but ummm, did anyone see the Falcons-Jets game this week?? Did anyone notice that the JETS fans threw snowballs onto the field just before and while the Falcons had scored the winning touchdown??? I’m an Eagles fan, and just because we’re “Philly”, our fans get a bad rap because of a few idiots at the game. Those people are the assholes, not the rest of the 67,000 people at the game. I’ve been to a number of stadiums around the couontry and have worn my Eagles jersey. Was i given a hard time and had things said to me? Of course! I knew what i was getting into. did i turn around and get all offended? hell no…..i turned around and started talking to the people. It’s all just in good fun!
“Whoa, whoa, whoa. It seems like everyone on here has the TMZ.com mentality. Allow me to provide a little perspective. My dad works security at the home games with his retired cop buddies.”
That would explain a lot. Maybe they should hire somebody just a lil bit more competent than a guy that raised a kid that turned out as bitter and stupid as you.
Wow, I know, Philly must have the worst fans ever. Not even close. Ever since the “Snowball Santa” incident, us Philly fans have been labeled, as one guy just put it, as Neandethals.
Nobody ever mentions the crap that occurs at other stadiums. DeSean Jackson just had bottles thrown at him two weeks ago – in NY. Nice coverage on that one.
To all the haters: Open your eyes and shut your cake holes. You sound like a bunch of blubbering idiots, like the crowd scenes depicted in a “South Park” episode. You know, the types that are easily swayed into believing and following anything. Go ahead, follow like the sheep that you are. Maybe it’s just jealousy. You wish your city displayed the amount of passion that our fans possess. Eat it bitches.
Say something original as well. “How many Super Bowls do the Eagles have?” Wow, good one. You know, the past is the past. Did you know that the Eagles have 3 NFL Championships? Probably not. But it’s in the past! The NFL is in the now. You thoughtless sheep garner all of your information from local AM sports stations instead of coming up with something intelligent to say on your own.
As a lifelong Eagles fan I am MORTIFIED AND APPALLED watching what these people did to other human beings, just because they wore a SF jersey. My God, what horrible, drunken scumbags they are. Philly fans deserve the national reputation of being thugs and sore losers, even when their teams win! “Fans” like this give this town a blackeye. (Earlier in the year, a group of drunken thugs beat a man to death outside of the Phillies staduim.) I even saw women throwing snow at them. The team is also at fault knowing the kind of people that attend the games for not removing all of the snow. They should have paid for enough people to do a complete removal. Once again, the Eagles tightwads are bitten in the ass because they wanted to save a buck. Philly can’t ever be a world class team because of the working class thugs who attend the games. And, the Eagles will never be the Gold Standard that ownership boasts that they are. Good and true Eagles fans are HORRIFIED by such behavior. I can’t afford to attend an Eagles home game at LFF, so how can these thugs afford it? SHAME, SHAME, SHAME.
Filthadelphia Eagles fans are classless animals.
Karma is a bitch, that’s why you suffer a brutal playoff loss every year.
HA HA HA……Thats’s some funny shit right there……
This stuff happens everywhere. I was watching the Phillies play somewhere this year (away game) and someone threw beer at Victorino as he was trying to make a catch. Morons are morons and every city has them. I don’t believe morons are tied to any one geographical region. If someone does something stupid in Philly it’s all over the news and “typical” Philly fans who snowballed Santa 41 years ago. When it happens in other stadiums, it’s an exception and rarely gets covered.
I mentioned in another post, what about the Giants fans after the Eagles beat them in the playoffs destroying cars with baseball bats? Go look it up on you tube. Didn’t hear much about that in the news. Imagine if that happened in Philly.
As for the snowballs, does it seem smart to you to go to a game with snow all over the place and drinking rabid fans to wear the jersey of another team? I consider them getting snowballed darwinism for being so stupid.
All of you fans that say “if they wear their teams jersey into the Linc they deserved it”.. let me ask you THIS.. if you traveled to an away game, would you wear your Eagles Jersey??
Yes = You are a hypocrite if the same thing happens to you and you get remotely upset!!
No = Apparently you are too afraid when you are out numbered, and not the other way around, like i said in my previous post!

Yeah, and I bench press school buses and once punched a hole in the sun.
Just because you like to get guys “in your guard” doesn’t mean you have to subject the rest of this community to your homosexual behavior. In actuality, you’re probably a 13 year old who just recently learned the meaning of the word “ronin,” as in your namesake, and you were awe-inspired by its samurai origin. In any case, you’re an idiot for posting your “internet tough guy” record, and you’re possibly gay(Ok, probably gay). You might just be the biggest bumbledick on the internet.
FLORIO you are an idiot sir, it has already been reported this is a fake, did you watch the video yet?? Fing idiot. Do some research.
————————————————
Not fake, i saw it in person. It was hilarious, for every one involved. You guys need to chill on hating Philly fans.
Maybe we just have more pride in our team than you do?
Must be a PA thing. Same thing happens in Pittsburg with Florio’s beloved Steelers fans.
This is whats wrong with the world today. No, if you go to see your team in another venue you do not deserve to be treated like this. Now if they started it, as some have alluded to, then you can blame them too. I am a self-admitted sports junkie, played and watched my entire life. But at the end of the day, it is just a game. These stories are the reasons you can’t bring your family to a football game anymore. I have never had an experience like any of these at the baseball park. A few friends and I were at the game when All Day went for 296 with a buddy of ours who was from San Diego and in his custom Chargers jersey. All was good and fun until some jerks starting getting personal and making fun of his name on his jersey. Our group was ready to fight, damn the team colors, until they apologized realizing they were outnumbered a bit. And I’ve confronted others at home games about their behavior towards others (except Packer fans, just kidding). You want to get rowdy, spit, slur comments and swear? Go watch the game at your favorite bar or stay home! These are the things that keep me, and many others for that matter, with my family safe in our home to watch these games. I love the game day experience but will not submit my children to spending a day with so many ignorant, possibly drunk, punks.
And this does not happen in other cities? What about DeSean Jackson almost getting hit by full bottles of beer at the Meadowlands 2 weeks ago? How about Shane Victorino getting beer dumped on him during this years NLCS ????Snowballs at Santa? For those of you who are to ignorant to know…the original “Santa” could not make it so the Eagles pulled a kid out of the stands to be Santa. That individual was interviewed and he said he was a horrible Santa and he would have thrown snowballs as well…
Obviously, fans from other cities should recognize that they are likely to get abused if they wear the other teams colors in Philadelphia…that’s just the way it is…
Vox, nobody wanted to fool around with the tranny. Thats why everyone stayed away when you sashayed into town.
Interesting. The people not from Philly point out that Philly fans are dirtbags and this is to be expected from such low life’s. Then the Philly fans chime in and prove they are dirt bags by coming up with lame defenses of this.
WHAAAA it happens in other cities too!!!
WHAAAA they disrepected us by wearing the uniform of the team they like.
Grow up

Wow, “assault”? For snowballs?
What a bunch of goddamn pussies…
Oh, and to the supposed tough-guy “MMA fighter” that’s undefeated, go blow a goat. No one here gives 2 shits about your stupid white-trash sport. I hope you get paralyzed in your next fight…
Wow, I know my team has problems but at least those issues are on the field.
Worst we have are fans sitting in their seats sipping Singapore Slings and Bananna Daquiris when they should be standing up making some noise.
…also, Jerry’s got chicks dancing in cages. LOL
Wow you are all morons. LOL @ all the Eagles haters and people who hate eagles fans. Get a life folks, this happens at tons of NFL stadiums if you come in with an opposing teams jersey and talk trash.
Since when is “they do it too” a defense for stupid, idiotic behavior, you bunch of Teamster-ass, Roofers uinon thugs.
You guys are so pathetic. You mean to tell me that no other NFL team who has snow in the winter, doesn’t throw snowballs. Why don’t you stop jumping on this bogus bandwagon about how bad Philly fans are. Didn’t the Broncos fans throw batteries and bottles a couple of years ago? Same with Cleveland? I’m don’t agree with throwing anything in any stadium. Anyone who does it should lose their season tickets. Stop this BS about how it’s only Philly who does this stupid crap!!
Yet again Chunky Soup Sales shows that their is no limit to how low your IQ can be while still posting on here. I was obviously not saying that the philly fans’ actions were justified or I would not have called them trashy, but I doubt you can actually read and I am guessing you had to get the literate member of your family to type your response. Your sister/wife is probably getting really tired of you pontificating about things even she probably knows you know nothing about. You should probably just go back to making mutant babies with her like the Texas hillbilly you are.
Yeah I know Eagirl fans, you’re really tough behind a monitor and several rows away. BOO! hahahaha
This would NEVER happen in Lucas Oil Stadium!

“Fags in Denver stop the game for a laser pointer, imagine what they would do for actual projectiles.
Donkey fans are the weakest in the league.”
Chuckle. I really don’t need to justify this with a response but I will since the Raiders did come in and get lucky with a win over the Broncos.
Dearest Raider fan. Your team is terrible and your owner is the worst in the league. Stop for a minute and realize that if you had Daniel Snyder as your owner it would be an improvement for you. Wow. That is a tough pill to swallow. Think of this….aside from a few good Gruden years, your team has been worse than the Lions and the Bengals. How many top five picks have you had in the last few years. How many busts? How about in ’98 when you drafted a kicker in the first round? How about passing over Crabtree for a guy that was inactive the last couple weeks? How about Robert Gallery as a left tackle. Third overall wasn’t he? How’s that working for you? What’s that running back’s name? McFadden? How high was he drafted? How many yards does he have? Michael Huff? Wasn’t he number 7? Was it Napoleon Harris or Kaufman? Can’t remember….one of those first round picks you got for Gruden that you squandered on speed. Wow. Your team is so fast. Fast wins games doesn’t it. I mean the Raiders are proof right? Fast wins four games. A year. I really could go on for days but these were just the recent flops off the top of my head.
So your inevitable response to me will be something like: “Your team isn’t that good….Mike Shanahan was overated. We beat you Sunday….blah blah blah.”
You don’t really have much you can say to support your team. Bottom line: We have owned you for almost two decades. Ouch. And though you will never admit it, you would take our owner, our coaches both former and current, and our talent, and our records both good and mediocre over your own. Your team is an absolute disgrace to the NFL. I’m sorry for you.
All we are doing by sending the comment-count for this article over 200 is validating this bogus non-story. More comments=more traffic=more impressions=more revenue. Just keep that in mind.
Just goes to prove that philly has some of the worst, ignorant fans around. They don’t respect anyone, especially themselves. I can’t wait until the Cowboys whip their butts again and take the division from them.
@mattitude
You are the internet police.. you patrol and “school” anyone that posts something you don’t like.. hahaha, get a life! Go stop some shoplifters, mall guard!
@GovtCheese
Stay classy, moron! Regardless of what you think of the sport, it’s far beyond your level of athleticism! And based on your “go blow a goat” comment.. it’s above your social skills as well! You go ahead and keep “blowing goats”.. i’ll keep my MMA.. I think it’s obvious who wins this one!
Wow, people throwing snowballs at these people! Those poor, poor SF fans, I sure hope that after that brutal assault these people will be able to return to work and assume normal lives after that emotionally and physically-scarring incident.
I mean, damn, SNOWBALLS! Wow! The gall of some people, throwing SNOWBALLS! Who do they think they are? Don’t they know snowballs have been known to KILL people? Every single person that threw a snowball should be arrested and charged with assault w/ a deadly weapon, you can’t play around when it comes to snowballs. Thousands and thousands of kids die each year after participating in snowball fights, we must take this threat seriously!
LOL @ Mattitude
Everything you said on here was hilarious and accurate. Well done sir.
“Karma is a bitch, that’s why you suffer a brutal playoff loss every year. ”
When they make the playoffs. Don’t forget that they’re one of only 13 NFL teams and the only NFCE team with an overall losing record.
I think Eagles fans just like to play with “balls” in general.. theirs, their friends’, SNOWballs, the MOTHballs in their Lombardi Trophy display!! ;o)
Happens everywhere…I remember the Pats-Dolphins game a few years back during a major snowstorm, you may remember this as the game with fans throwing the snow into the air during big plays…anyway, a Fins fan was on TV standing up in his seat and got absolutely lit up by snowballs from the Pats fans.
What do you expect?
I went to my first game at Gillette about a month ago. Three Jet fans sat right in front of me and they where cool and got treated cool. The worst they had to hear was a couple of J-E-T-S suck suck suck. I live in Indiana and I can’t go to a Colts/Pats game here because the fans get drunk and take their hate out on the fans. I don’t see the logic in fan to fan hate. There is one team I hate and thet’s the Jets. Their fans have just as much right to sit in the seats they piad for and root for the team they like.
i will never attend a game in Philly again, i will not give that city my money ever again.
3yrs ago attending a Phillies game, i watched a father, his son and his daughter walk into the game. The little girl (no more than 4/5yrs old) had a beer dumped over her head…….why did this take place? simply because she was wearing a Mets shirt
PATHETIC, thankfully the father kicked the ass of the pathetic Phillie’s fan up and down the parking lot, while my girlfriend and I watched his two children
“Beyond that, the modern city itself has a ton of worthwhile items. It’s by far the most sophisticated beer city in the US. “Philly Beer Week” is a model for city-wide celebrations of craft brew. The Pharma industry booms here, with almost all the big companies having some major office here.”
Crappy beer and drugs are the first things you could think of? Sounds about right.
“Maybe we just have more pride in our team than you do?”
See, this is why you guys are the dumbest animals on the planet. To you, pride = pelting other fans with snowballs? Seriously?
Philly is ahead of the curve in treatment of opposing fans in the US…don’t they set fire to fans of the opposing futbol team in Europe…so I guess it could be worse…
Speaking of burn, sorry B-Dawk , we love ya, but DJAX is going to be putting jelly on you this week..
Any Philly fans defending this are pathetic. I’ve been to the Eagle games and we were challenged to fights in the parking lot just because we had a decal on a car bumper (we knew better to wear anything like a team sweatshirt or hat).
I been to over a dozen stadiums over the years and Philadelphia fans are the worst, hands down, there isn’t even a close second place.
Karma exists in this world and it is no mistake that Philly never won a Superbowl and its not like its going to happen anytime soon.
The only thing worse then a Philly fan is a Raider fan.
eagle fans are followers. if one throws a snowball, then another. if one throws a yellow snowball…
wow what a great idea!!!
——————-
Hilarious!
Wouldnt have it any other way. Thank you, Philly fans , for keeping it real – if other fans dont like it, theyre more than welcome to “do something about it”
sincerely,
Raider Nation
Makes one wonder, did the Philly fans finish second in the courage award voting?
As for the “everyone does it to” crowd. What other stadiums have had to have courts/jails inside of them because the fans are a complete bunch of dicks?

Ladies and gentlemen, yet another great example of the stupidity of Eagirls fans. Starts talking about the US, ends up talking about Europe.

i call BS.
And for this I will now and always shall remain a PHILLY GIRL FOREVER no matter how old and where I live and no matter whether our teams Win or Lose. And yes we HATE them when they Lose and we LOVE them when they WIN but DON’T disrespect our HOUSE … but we WILL disrespect yours and run our mouths because we are PROUD PHILLY FANS!
Philly fans are lower than pond scum. While there are knuckle heads in every NFL stadium and there are some fans of the visiting teams that simply don’t know how to act when you are outnumbered 60,000 to 2 — Philly fans are by far the worse. I am a Pats fan and have attended away games (wearing a Pats jersey) in Buffalo (3), NY (Jets and Giants), Baltimore, Washington, Denver, Indy (3 or 4 times), Miami (3), and Tennessee and never had a problem. I experienced Philly fans first hand in Jacksonville at the Super Bowl. The things that they said to me and my wife as we were walking around the city and during the game was atrocious. You can’t say enough bad things about them.
“Everybody does it” or “this isn’t as bad as….” are not a defense to what happened at that stadium, it is an attempted diversion of what went on at the stadium. It means that you have no legitimate excuse for what happened.
If Roger Goodell wants these stadiums to be “family friendly”, then it he ought to start holding the home teams accountable for their fans actions in the stadium. That means stripping that team of draft picks and/or fining the team.
I don’t care how big of a douchbag any one is, they don’t deserve to be pummeled with snowballs or any other object. Given how far away some of those snowballs were thrown from, it appears to me that some people joined in just for the sake of joining in.
“The only thing worse then a Philly fan is a Raider fan.”
^^^^^
Not sure if Raider fan is worse than Philly fan, but whatever the order, Jester “fans” definitely round out the top (bottom) three.
What a classless bunch of loosers… I would have been pissed if I was sitting down there with my kid. No respect for ANYONE including their own fans.
Start taking PSL’s away like most stadiums do and the jack asses will be watching from home.
You ever been to a Raider game killerdouche1955? You don’t know shit about Raider fans, so shut the hell up – they don’t even compare to the crap Philly fan does.
That being said, I hope there’s snow left for Sunday’s game as I would love to see Donkey fans get pelted just like that.
This type of behavior is despicable to say the least. However, if they egged the entire section on as the guy from 135 said, then eff em. They got what the deserved.
Im an Eagles fan currently living in MD. Every time the Eagles play at Fed Ex or M&T I go and where my colors. Stuff like this happens all the time, granted on a much smaller scale.
While I was walking to the stadium for this seasons MNF game here at Fed Ex we passed a big group of tailgaters. All guys with a few women. As I passed none of them even looked at me. Then my spidey senses went off and I turned around to a hotdog (in bun) hurling at my face…. behind it I see one of the only women. I managed to snag that thing like DJax… still in the bun. I called back thanks, raised the dog and took a bite.
Anyway, Redskins fans are worse. They let their women do the dirty work.
“How about passing over Crabtree for a guy that was inactive the last couple weeks? How about Robert Gallery as a left tackle.”
Hmmmmm.
Robert Gallery’s better than Shawn Andrews, who can’t even get on the field. Better than Winston Justice, too. How’s that FredEx experiment working out for you? What’s it like having a coach that many think needs an assistant to help him manage a game?
@ Cbrianwatkins
Wait did you know the guy who beat up the phillies fan? Or did some guy just dump his kids off with you strangers in order to get into a drunken fight in a Philadelphia parking lot? Because I am not sure who would be the bigger a-hole between the two of them then.
“And for this I will now and always shall remain a PHILLY GIRL FOREVER”
And as such can be bought and sold for the price of a couple of crappy beers.
Hilarious… what’s great is you see the two guys hi-fiving Iggles fans on the way out…
It also cracks me up to see all of the Internet Muscles being flexed… ” If I came to Philly… blah blah blah… ” you’d do nothing but sit on your hands and watch the game.
My seats are in section 206 ( have been a season ticket holder for 15 years now starting over at the VET ) and we have a few non-season ticket seats in our area that are occasionally bought by opposing teams fans… as long as they cheer their team on and aren’t turning around talking sh*t after every play, doing the first down sign, turning around and WANTING to be noticed, pretty much being obnoxious and in your face, they’re fine…
I can say this though, at least in our section, we police our own… meaning, we don’t put up with idiot Iggles Fans either… we’ve had plenty of our fans kicked out of the stadium for acting like idiots…
Last note, most of the time, the problem is with the single game ticket holders, not season ticket holders… and when I mean problem, I mean someone being a drunk a$$, throwing up, fighting etc…
GO BIRDS!
“And yes we HATE them when they Lose and we LOVE them when they WIN”
You must HATE them an awful LOT, as one of the few teams that has an overall losing record.
“And yes we HATE them when they Lose and we LOVE them when they WIN”
Also, most people would consider that the definition of bandwagoning. Bet you were a Steeler fan last year, Ms. “proud Eagirl fan”.
Thanks for the Christmas present Florio. You couldn’t hurt anybody with that powdery snow if you shot it out of a cannon. People were tossing them around all day, inside and outside the Linc, and nobody got hurt. On the plus side, we learned a lot about PFT nation today: now we know that Vox is really one of those phoney Cowboys fans from Jersey, Hap is a wardrobe critic (probably one of the “Queer Eye” dudes), and most of you are hypocrites. Do any of you think this sort of thing doesn’t happen in every stadium? Maybe not snowballs, but giving the business to the other teams fans? All the time. Back when we used to go on Eagles road trips, we got heckled too. Hell, we went to Tampa once and there were twenty fights within a hundred feet of us, so HossStyle doesn’t have any room to cry (BTW, how do YOU like having a team that’s going to stink for the next decade). The only place we had no problems at was New Orleans, but I think that’s only because we were trading drinks all afternoon with the Saints fans around us.
This did provide some humor, though. A Viking fan saying that Philly girls are fat? Outside of Minneapolis, I’ll bet most of the women look like your mascot Hagar, or whatever his name is. Whodey, a guy from Cincy calling another city, ANY other city names? Hillarious. As for the rest of the commenters, prove to me you’ve never had an incident at your stadium, and then you can talk about Philly.

—
Wasn’t that one of the Superbowl the Pats cheated to win?
I think so.
Why don’t you give the Trophy to it’s rightful owner. Stupid obnoxious Pats fan.
Philly fans are the biggest blowhard pussies on the face of the planet. Sure they’ll throw snowballs at you like a little girl, but if you get in their face they’ll run crying just like that little girl. I proudly wore my Skins gear to that game each of the four years that I lived there and every time without fail some jerk-off south philly punk tried to hassle me. Every time all it took was grabbing them by the collar or a quick knock over their seat before the whining chorus of “What’s your problem? We’re just here to watch a football game, calm down no one wants to fight!” started. Well if he wasn’t trying to fight why were your friend’s hands on me? Or how did that beer get poured on my back?
Granted, I am a big dude, but I have never NOT ONCE had a Philly fan stand their ground when I decided I’d had enough. (Actually, once a guy’s gf slapped me, so that just goes to show what pussies reside in that disgusting city — have their girls fight their battles. And no, I would never hit a woman, and did not fight back)
Philly fans are like dogs — they’ll bark at you until you hit them in the mouth and show them who the alpha dog is. Then they shut up and fall in line. No wonder they signed Vick.
So to sum up, Philly is the worst, most foul city on the planet, populated by the worst human beings on the planet, all of whom will fold immediately when challenged. And I can’t wait for you Philly fans to challenge me anonymously over the internet. I’d take the train up to meet you in the parking lot if I thought there was any chance in the world that you would show.
I didn’t know the Raiders actually had fans. Guess somebody has to root for the college team of the NFL.

Are also proud of you complete disrespect for punctuation?
and we wonder why we have anonymous texting systems to report unruly behavior. When Goodell sees this he’s going to say “I want butts!” The league is not going to be happy about this.

Last thing we need is yet another generation of mouthbreathing knuckle-draggers that you clearly are so proud to be a part of.
Glad to say this doesnt happy in Dallas. Scumbags.
Everyone knows you never stop for red lights after dark in Mogadishu … ERRR Philadelphia. Fools, Fools, both of them. Ketamine and RPGs …… ERRR …. Budweiser and Snowballs are a lethal combination in the hands of jacked up, developmentally challenged, thugs …. ERRR Eagles Fans
Hey, don’t laugh. A cop in DC waved a gun at a crowd of snowballers just last weekend. He got ‘hit’, don’t you know!
If this happened to me, I’d gladly find the nearest child and woman wearing Eagles attire and repeatedly punch them directly in the face. I mean, thats what happens right? If you’re wearing the Jersey opposite of me, then I have the right to assault you, insult you, do whatever, because we like different teams. I’d gladly beat the crap out of innocent people just to prove a point, that I don’t take crap from anybody, and thats MY stadium. Cowboys are 3-3 at the Linc….so its fair to say its just as much their stadium. Losers
I am from Green Bay and was to Philly for the 4th and 26 game the year the Eagles lost to the Patriots in the Super Bowl. I myself was spit on countless times, while drunken people attempted to speak the english language and insult us. A Packers fan that was a few rows up from us was sucker-punched by another Eagles fan and luckily the police had enough common sense to rectify the situation.(Surprising cause it seems like everyone in Philly is a dumbass) It makes me wonder why as an athlete you would want to play for a city that has such horrible fans. In addition, the fans in Philly will hate you if they see you eating clam cowder instead of the “cheese steak” that they call their own. The fans will turn on you very quickly, and I think even their franchise quarterback is pretty aware of that.
Philly hands down has the worst fans in the NFL. No respect for anyone. There is a reason not even Santa could go without getting a snowball thrown his way in Philly. The fans are just clueless. Im surprised they remember what days the Eagles games take place on.
The only funny thing about this video is that Philly fans are so incapable that many of them are throwing snowballs and hitting other Philly fans. I would say about 30% of those snowballs are actually hitting the 9ers fans. Absolutely no class. They were probably sucker-punched on the way to their cars as well. The NFL needs to fine the Eagles organization until they get their fans under control. Either that or take away a few home games and make them play 10 on the road. This is one of many ludacris things I have seen on the internet in addition to what I have seen in person while at an Eagles game.
I know we can sit here and say these things happen at every NFL game, because they do. The frequency in which they happen at Eagles home games however is much more than at other NFL venues. There absolutely needs to be something done about this behavior by the NFL.
“And I can’t wait for you Philly fans to challenge me anonymously over the internet. I’d take the train up to meet you in the parking lot if I thought there was any chance in the world that you would show.”
making fun of people who would challenge you over the internet……as you…challenge them over the internet. nice.
I might go to a Philly game and wear my Barber jersey. I would love one of these thugs to hit me with anything. They would then get the worst beat down in the histroy of all beat downs and every other Eagle fan would watch and see what happens when you act like a childish thug punk. I went to FedEx field and had a blast with Redskin fans so whoever says this happens everywhere is full of crap. Be proud scummer Philly fans, be proud.

so youre telling me everyone in Philly is a fair-weather fan?….sounds about right, and that goes for all teams in Philly too. not just the “Iggles”
I was there – sec 138. The actually didn’t catch the worst of it – the bald guy was giving the double finger to the entire section and got destroyed. Saw about 25 people get thrown out. I’m actually in the video at the very end patting the guys on the back on their way out. It sucks that they had to leave.
On a more positive note Jeff Lurie also got attacked in his club box by a barrage of snowballs.

Oh wait, your original post about how “badass” you are completely left out how big your biceps are, and what the max weight is when you squat. I’m sure that every follower of this website just can’t wait to hear about your way awesome personal accomplishments. Also, how often do you get a boner when you have another chisel-figured man in a rear-naked choke? Does it make you less attracted to women because their bodies don’t contain as much muscle mass? Do you have a newsletter that I could subscribe to, so that I can be kept informed about your sellout MMA fights? Can we be best friends?
Maybe that should be played on stubhub and ticketmaster to stop those out of town scum from coming to Philly to watch a game. We have enough Eagles fans, we dont need out of towners to fill the Linc. This ain’t Jacksonville!
I kept switching between laughing my ass off and feeling bad that these two douches didnt realize what a stupid idea it was to wear those in Philly.
VoxVeritas:
What’s it like having a coach that can’t win in the playoffs and will be out of a job next year?
What’s it like having that Coach and his quarterback, and the previous several coaches and their quarterbacks, get utterly jobbed by the SAME Eagles Coach and SAME Eagles quarterback, year after year after year?
Talk shit on Donovan. Talk shit on Andy Reid. Be my guest. They have both made it their business to embarrass Dallas year in and year out and the best you can say in response is to mention an overall record that stretches back to a time three decades before the human-like bipedal mammals in Texas evolved opposable thumbs and started throwing footballs professionally – a time during which, I might add, the Eagles won 3 National Championships.
Reading through these comments, I love how Eagle fans always use red herrings to defend themselves whenever somebody calls their fans out for being a collective group of depraved, violent drunks.
“Ooooh, it happens at every stadium”…”we haven’t thrown a snowball at Santa in 30 years”…”it’s not like we were packing batteries in the snowballs (this time)”…the media is just lazy and wants to use outdated stereotypes”.
Having regretfully lived in Philly for two years now, that’s all nonsense. You are exactly who the nation collectively thinks you are. And being such a parochial town, with people whose idea of a tropical vacation is to go “down the shore” and never otherwise leave the area, that inbred hostility towards “those outsiders” is never going to change.
You will always be the poster children for dispicable crowd behavior unless you and your fellow neanderthals can, for example, sit in a stadium full of snow, and manage to behave like human beings.
I went to the Vet in January of 2003. It was cold, but no snow. I wish it snowed, because that would have hurt less than half empty plastic bud light bottles. But it was ohhh so worth it to watch them lose the LAST game EVER in the Vet. Some morons were actually trying to pull up their chairs and take them with them after the game. Go figure.

But something about a bunch of guys drinking for five hours leading up to the game changes everything.
I don’t even think about wearing my gear. Nobody ever starts shit 1-on-1 anyways, it’s always a group or a group that has someone’s back.
Philly fans give me wood.

—————————————————-
I have been to a “white trash Ravens game”, and I must say, that the city of Baltimore and the fans of their NFL team, were great hosts. Of course there were a shit-ton of us Raiders fans there, but the Raiders lost. The Ravens fans were respectful with their post game ribbing on the way to the parking lot, and I met a lot of great people that day. The Ravens have some great fans, I can only thank them for the kick ass time I had while visiting their stadium and city. It was everything an NFL game should be for a fan of the visiting team. Much respect goes out to them from myself and my friends.
more proof that when you reside in, or root for a team residing in PA, you’re the biggest pile of crap to walk the earth. You’re disgusting Eagles and Steelers fans. I could only be so lucky to wake up with PA removed from this planet.

I cant stand anything that you talk about when it comes to football but that last post was funny.
@ birdman
Sorry, probably not any snowstorms but they still have empty beer bottles that the Philly fans throw and I am sure they can smuggle in batteries. Anything to be close to a Philly fan!
The Hooj probably lost his girlfriend to a Steelers fan, since that is the only reason he would bring them up in this situation. Don’t worry Hooj, it has nothing to do with you rooting for a loser team or anything, it was probably just because you could not satisfy her in any way. Just keep telling yourself that you are a winner and maybe one day you will believe it.
Who is Mike Missanelli? And how is it possible that he or anyone is a bigger douche than Skip Bayless?
Do people seriously deny Philly fans are the worst and that MORE crazy stuff happens at their place than anywhere else?
I thought that was like a badge of honor for them?
I always got the impression that the whole “you’ll get stabbed in philly” was like a source of pride for the fans and it’s what they actually had to hang their hat on.

That is awesome. To bad the Ravens weren’t playing the Squeelers last Sunday in Bmore after our blizzard. Ravens fans would have had a field day picking off Squeelers fans.
Did I really read that fans in Dallas drink daquiris at games?
Anyway, I’ve been to many Eagles games over the years at both the Vet and the Linc. Opposing fans are going to get heckled and they’re going to hear the asshole chants. Most of the time those fans take it as good natured ribbing, give a smile and a wave and then the Eagles fans lay off .
It’s only when opposing fans are drunk and obnoxious and talking trash that things escalate. Just like it’s usually only a few drunk asshole Eagles fans that get out of control, it’s usually one or two asshole {name your team’s} fans that instigate it and egg them on. There’s always more than one side of the story.
I’ve been to the Georgia Dome (which was half empty, of course) in my Eagles jersey and had people behind me throwing ice and straws and straw wrappers. Basically, anything they could hit me with that they thought I couldn’t feel. Whatever. They were defending their turf. I kept my mouth shut, gave them a look to let them know that they weren’t being so sly, and that was the end of it.
It happens everywhere. The media singles out Philadelphia because of an incident that happened 40 years ago. And you know what that does? It makes drunk men in their 20s and early-30s want to “live up to the reputation”. Eagles fans are rowdy for two reasons:
1. It’s expected
2. They KNOW that it is intimidating and DOES add to the home field advantage
And for all of the, “those tickets cost a lot of money and you should be able to enjoy a game” people, keep in mind, the Eagles’ fans (or name your team) paid for their tickets too. And it’s THEIR stadium and THEIR culture. Iwouldn’t go to an Indian restaurant and insist they feed me cow. I just take what’s on the menu and keep my mouth shut.
Re: “This would NEVER happen at Lucas Oil Stadium”
- Please. Your stadium was half empty until Peyton Manning arrived and the team started winning. And when he retires, that stadium will be empty again. Fair weather fans in places like Indy or St Louis have NO business commenting on the fans in cities like New York, Cleveland, or Philadelphia.
@ tom skiffington:
Ha, fair point. What can I say, Eagles fans get me riled up so sometimes my logic escapes me!
@ Chuck Jager:
No point in going around and around, I suppose you’ll believe what you like. And just to be clear it wasn’t “a story” — it was a consistent string of miserable experiences over four and a half years. If you like, I can also tell you about the time I got knocked flat on my ass in the Meadowlands parking lot waiting for the bus. Got nachos spilled all over me. Very embarassing. But I was being an asshole cause I was pissed about the Skins losing 36-0, so I probably deserved it. Now THAT one I bet you believe!
Oh just for the record, Eagles fans born and raised in South Philly are a different breed altogether. I don’t necessarily like being lumped in with those animals.

Those throws were way more accurate than anything you see from McNabb.

Eagles fans might be dicks BUT ATLEAST OUR TEAM DOESNT CHEAT. Every game u one in the 5 game period doesnt count. Your team didnt even make it to the playoffs in my opinion.
Ive been to about 10 Eagles games the last 5 years with my Dad and Brother they are both Cowboys fans. But my dad and brother dont drink so they dont talk crap to Eagles fans at the staduim. The worst that has ever happened to them is people telling them to take their Cowboys hats off or Romo Jerseys. Never in a mean way always joking.
If you show respect at the Staduim you get respect.
My dad is also a Braves fan and phillies fans have never messed with him either.
When I was a kid in 1996 I went to a Cowboys Eagles game in Texas with my dad and some Jackass Cowboys fan took my Eagles hat from me. I was only 10 years old. Also all the Cowboys fans were chanting for Ricky Watters to break his leg. Until Troy Vincent Picked a ball off in the endzone to seal the game. Fans every where are idiots.
Advantage of being a Steeler fan is no matter what stadium you go to there are whole sections of Steeler fans…..so we bring our jerseys and terrible towels and no1 does a thing

The Eagles actually have 2 Championships retard Roscoe! So who is your team.. Cause we may not win it all but we def arent gonna get blown out! Who is your team?? Please tell probably some horrible team like the deadskins!

LMAO! That’s right, don’t come into our city and try to disrespect us! ….they got what they deserved.
Thanks Philly fan. With that logic, I have every right to throw whatever I have any my disposal to any Eagle jersey wearing fan – especially if they root for their team during a comeback. No wonder people think your city is the asshole of the country.
Route36West says:
Now your an idiot too. Do you know where throwing batteries orginated at? New York. They threw batteries at Pete Rose when he was part of the Phillies. Learn something before you speak idiot.
^^^^^
Ummmm…this post is a joke, right?
While I do appreciate you filling us in on the illustrious history of throwing batteries at people (though my post made no reference as to where the lovely gesture originated), the incident with JD is pretty notorious. Google “JD Drew batteries” and you’ll find a multitude of articles. Do the same with “Pete Rose batteries”…I did, nothing pops up.
Even still, using your argument, if this a New York activity, why not come up with something original like…I don’t know…say shooting off a flare gun from one end of the stadium to the other?
If you hate New York as much a I do, why the hell would anyone want to emulate a New Yorker?
Ronin,
Give it up. You are Pwned. Mother jokes? You must be about 15.
I’m a Raiders fan, so I don’t have a dog in this fight.
Back in 2005 I heckled the crap out of Eagles fans in Jacksonville so bad after the Pats SB39 win that I made a 12 year old boy cry on the plane ride home. I used to feel bad, but not anymore. Eagles fans are like their team, losers.
@BradyMoss08
So you made a 12 year old boy cry and you are calling him a loser… The irony is not lost on me.
Lombardi Trophies: Dallas 5 philadelphia 0…..that’s ZERO eagle fans, pure scum
WOW!!! People in philly have no class. Throwing snowballs is really mature, the last time I threw one I was 10. Get over it, your team sucks and so does your city. Your anger probably comes from having a football team that hasn’t done anything. birds4eva your a complete moron, google how many superbowls your crappy ass team has won and NFC championships don’t count but hey I guess you gotta be proud about something. The eagles have NEVER won a superbowl and they won’t. I don’t know how you can talk crap, when there is nothing to brag about. Just like the cowgirls, you don’t have a QB or WRs good enough to win a championship, and your fat ass coach sucks. I’m just waiting for him to drop dead on the sidelines, I mean seriously he looks horrible and has gained about a 150lbs since last year. Instead of driving your organization into the ground he should have spent some time with his convict sons. But I guess the city of brotherly thugs has rubbed off on all of you losers. To all the eagles fans, enjoy your misery and have a wonderful Christmas…Hail!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What do you expect? They gave Vick the Ed Brock award!
Typical.
If I came to Philly and you douche bags did that to me,my friends or family…just like Colonel Sam Trautman said on Rambo:”You send that many, don’t forget one thing. A good supply of body bags. ” For you Eagle fans that is. You people are the biggest idiot fans in America.
@mattitude
(and anyone who wants to know what he is about!!!)
Philly truely is the “City of BROTHERLY love”!!
Talk now, “tough guy”! ;o)

You sir, win at the iternetz.
You’re comparing yourself to Rambo, and we’re the douchebags?
@ mavsman
@ Hail!!!! (whatever the hell that means)
In case you haven’t seen this discussed before, the Eagles do have 3 NFL Championships. Why do you neglect to mention this? Better yet, did you even know this? What’s your next argument? “That was so long ago!” Yeah, it’s in the past, much like your Super Bowls. Get over it.
I must say, I do like the creativity of some of the stories you supposed fans from other cities put up. I could take that bull shit outside and fertilze my lawn. You’re all full of shit. I’ve been to countless Eagles games. The worst I saw was a guy getting heckled because he had some seriously awful looking NY Giants sneakers. And could I hear “Stay classy” one more time? Losers.
No matter what you say fellow Eagles fans, the dipshit jealous redneck retards and rejects that live in other cities will continue to try to bash us. Let them say what they want – we are the most loyal, passionate fans on the planet. We are unlike the other shitty cities, whose fans are fair-weather supporters. When the Eagles were bad, we were there. When they are good, we are there. To all other fans who hate – go f*ck yourself. Better yet, f*ck each other lke those two from San Francisco.
I win, you lose.
Well, that explains why Philly fans love Vick. From watching the footage, they couldn’t hit their target either.
Brings a new meaning to collateral damage doesn’t it?
Philly fans are so stupid, they thought that because the liberty bell was cracked, they could smoke it.
Lets move Independence Hall brick by brick like the London Bridge and the Liberty Bell out of that dump of a city and bulldoze the rest.
@ MasterShake:
Your attempt at comedy is pathetic
@ Villagemojo:
Go back to your slum, eat your Top Ramen, smoke your USA brand cigarettes and burn your trailer home down.
I love you Philly.
@ Cunt Sackula
Wasn’t a joke. If I have to explain when something is a joke to you, then, you’re a lost cause.
I went to the 49ers Eagles game last year in SF and sat by Philly fans. I yelled at them, made fun of them but no one at all threw anything at them. Even when one guy through his drink at a woman he mistakenly thought was flipping him off (she was saying one second too her husband) we didn’t throw anything at him. Why? Because in San Francisco we aren’t a bunch of brain dead, cheese steak eating, hicks. I’m sure the fans in this video don’t represent all the fans in Philadelphia so I will be clear. Whoever was throwing snowballs in this video is a brain dead hick who is probably unemployed and spending his kids college funds on season tickets.
Truth about philly.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0S4nSzE4N-o&feature=related
Seems like a non-issue to me. Why isn’t anyone reporting on the fans of the other teams who did the same thing? Oh yeah, this type of stuff only happens in Philly. Give me a break.
@ Mastershake
“Philly fans are so stupid, they thought that because the liberty bell was cracked, they could smoke it.”
This is your lame, unfunny attempt at comedy. so is your unfunny attempt at creating a different name from my screen name. You should be banned just for sucking.
@ Mr. ClaytonBigsby (great name by the way)
In case you didn’t pick it up in that video, which is several years old, the Philly fans in the house actually thought that Billy Burr’s tirade was hilarious. And it was.
Good night Philly. F*ck the rest of you.
Typical low class, scumbag Philly fans.
I’ve been to Philly and I cant blame them for their reaction to the niner fans. The locals there don’t take well to outsiders and are pretty close minded to almost everything.
Their isn’t much to do out there other than drink and bitch about the year long shitty weather.
So more or less everyone there is bitter, overweight, loud, rude and the basically are the least cultured and refined society I’ve ever seen in my travels.
It reminds me or Cleveland and Detroit quiet a bit now I come to think of it.
Either way Mcnabb is getting old, Westbrook is done and the Eagles D is a shadow of its former self.
The decline of the Eagles has already begun. It started the day they signed Vick.
I know it, you know it and Ron Jaworski knows it.
Look, I actually hate Philly (the team) the least out of the NFC East rivals (Dallas, NY, then Philly), but as a Redskins season ticket holder I can honestly say that Philly fans are the worst behaved of those who travel to Fed Ex. I have had seen so many a-hole Philly fans start fights in the stands, and in the parking lots, that I don’t even go to that game anymore. I actually have a better time with Dallas fans!
But I am not going to lie, I sometimes wish Skins fans kept the visiting fans in check. I was at the Monday night game, and there were so many Giants fans in the stands that Justin Tuck actually waved his arms in the air to get the crowd pumped. IN THE REDSKINS STADIUM! Last season there were so many Steelers fans at the Monday night game that Campbell had to go to a silent snap count. This kind of BS doesn’t happen in Philly, and it never will. So no matter how big of a dump Philly is, there has to be at least a small level of respect for the passion they have for their zero superbowl winning team.
No suprise here, we already knew Philly fans were douche bags

Anyone else think it was funny that “go f*ck yourself” was inexplicably linked to Jason Witten’s Rotoworld profile? I love computers.

Why would any Redskin fans stay? I would have left after the 1st quarter of that crap.

This.
I was at a Bucs-Rams Monday night game in Tampa a few years ago (when they both were good). When I went to the bathroom, there was a guy in a Rams Jersey trying to take a piss while about ten guys screamed and yelled at him. One of the Bucs fans took a swing at the guy on his way out, but the dude was so drunk he missed and the Rams fan dissapered into the crowd. I’m sure this happens everywhere. I am a Bears fan (not an easy thing to be lately), and I have worn my colors to many Bears @ Bucs Games and never had i problem, but I don’t run my mouth and bring trouble on myself!
Whiterhino- Sorry skip, you douches couldn’t neuter anyone. Not the pen protector type like you!
“Lombardi Trophies: Dallas 5 philadelphia 0″
there it is. the cowboy fan lost argument indicator. when you haven’t won a playoff game since bill clinton’s first term, and probably hadn’t even hit puberty the last time they won a super bowl, you can’t use that crap ‘we got 5 superbowls’ argument anymore.
It happens in alot of stadiums…Philly, Cleveland, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Chicago, just to name a few. You get people drunk and some snow on the ground, it’s a given. No big deal.
bigrig,
You are correct, it was 93 because that game took place after I graduated from HS in 93. My bad, but it was still very personal to some of the Bills fans. I, myself, am true Panthers Fan and I was the Giants fan before the expansion.
I just happened to attend the game because my family grew up in Buffalo before moving down to NC when my father turned 7 and still have some contact with the family in the area, and I went to college in Rochester NY.
Again, thanks for the correction but the incident occurred and I am just telling it like it is. It was horrible to see the husband getting burned like that and his wife was so pissed off.
I am calling B.S. on this one…..
Ill never forget a game in Giants Stadium ’95 vs the Chargers. It was stopped due to the fans in East Rutherford throwing chunks of ice on the field. Had that been us it would’ve been another “I told you so” How about those Youtube videos with the Giant fans during the playoff game last year. If you don’t know, look it up!!!!
Another point…..When our legends return here they are always treated with respect….Charles Barkley, A.I. and wait until Sunday. B Dawk will get one hell of an ovation. Had we treated a returning player the way Green Bay treated #4 it would’ve been more of the same. “oh philly fans are so harsh” blah blah blah….We don’t all get our opinions from radio hosts @ WIP, which quite honestly, my friends that know nothing about sports are on the same level as that stations #1 personality. We also get chastized for the same behavior NY and Boston fans committ, but for us it’s amplified. Again it’s B.S.
I am a true Eagles fan and I’m even ashamed of this video. Those people in 49ers uniforms paid great money for those seats. Hopefully the Eagles org. gave them a suite to watch the game. But every fan knows going to a game, never wear opposing teams memorabilia. It’s just a don’t do. I don’t know if those 2 guys thought they would rub it in or what but their quite dumb. But still, i’m ashamed that fans would hit another human being like that with snowballs. That is beyond fun. That’s criminal
Being from Philly and being an Eagle’s fan, I’m pissed off and outraged about this incident. I’m pissed off and outraged that Santa Claus wasn’t in the area again, so the fans could boo him and throw more snowballs at him!!! Philly fans rock!
well i thought cleveland and oakland had the worst and most ignorant fans in America, I guess i was wrong. Way to go Philly!
Maybe this is partially the reason why the US moved the capital to DC, so the world wouldn’t see some more dumbass fans like other countries have at soccer games.
Why doesn’t Philly just start letting Mike Vick’s release the hounds into the stands and attack fans rooting for the opposing teams, at least then he will get his dead ass off the bench.
I am a die hard Giants fan living in Charlotte. I also am a Carolina Panthers season ticket holder strictly on the fact that I love football and something about being drunk at a tailgate at 8am makes life worth living. Of course I root for the Panthers and wear my Beason jersey every week. With that said I ABSOLUTLY LOVE this video. Its nice to see some REAL fans treating road fans like they should be treated. At Panthers Stadium, you would get thrown out of there for cursing at a fan let alone throwing something. If u can believe this I have actually been asked to be quiet for cheering too loud by another Panthers fan! This video resembles everything I love about a real fan. Call the Eagles fans dirtbags, lousy, worst in football, etc. Even though I hate the Eagles a video like this proves to me they have some of the BEST fans in football…
No wonder why it was 25 years or whatever for a title, because Philly fans are idiots. The sports gods made them pay. Apparently it wasn’t enough, the future should be bright with Kevin Kolb at the helm right eagles? hahahaha!
Is that they way you are gonna send off McNabb? Throwing snowballs and booing him like you dumbasses did on draft day (but then cheered for Mike Mamula).

Philadelphia is a cutter. I know this because I live here and REALLY want to move out of this sewer. The entire city is literally covered in garbage, perfect representation of the people and fans that live here. Ive been all over the country and have never seen a place so dirty and filled with uneducated, trashy, and just mentally unstable people. The entire city should be condemned. Like I said before, the fans and people of this disgusting town look and act the same way this pathetic place looks.
The Philly fans reputation IS deserved. I’m the biggest Philly fan in the world, and I don’t have a problem at all with Philly fans acting like drunken neanderthals during the game. I also don’t have a problem with pelting obnoxious 49er fans with snowballs or pouring beer on them. However, how quickly people forget the 22 year old man who was beaten to death after a Phillies game outside Citizen’s Bank Park (1/4 mile from the Linc, where the Eagles play) by fellow Phillies fans, who kicked him in the head repeatetly even though he had lost consciousness. Philly fans are BY FAR the most passionate fans in America (MORE passionate than even VA Tech fans, my alma matter), but they also take a lot of heat, and deservedly so.
You guys who hate on Philly fans are complete ignorant morons. To say that all fans of a particular team are neanderthals or bad people or whatever other crap you wanna toss at Eagles fans is plain stupid. We bleed for our team and show support in whatever way we can. So what if some fans pelted some 49ers fans with snowballs? Big deal you crybabies…don’t come to the Linc then! As if it doesn’t happen in other cities. Like Philly fans are the only ones who would throw snowballs at fans of the opposing team in their stadium…please. I’ve seen Cowboys fans spit and throw beer on the Eagles players and Giants fans throw beer bottles at players and fans and even onto the field during games! If you aren’t man enough to handle some rowdy fans of the toughest sport in America, then you have no business having anything to do with football.
Eagle fans: WIN A SUPER BOWL! Just once! Until then, SHUT UP! You make the NFC East look bad and society look worse. Sit down and watch the game. Stop being such bitter and classless LOSERS. This is the word of Lord, Monte Coleman.
ps: if you ever want to know what being a true champion feels like, let me know.
City of Brotherly love does that include stabbing a girl or stomping one of your own fans.Snowballs at SANTA.There must be a reason why ELTON JOHN loves your city All E-Gal Fans are Gay,Everybody knows that. There must be a reason why your beloved Randell Cunningham went to the DALLAS COWBOYS .Maybe for a chance to win a BOWL….
Vox, just wanted to say you were probably ignored because this sort of thing actually doesn’t happen that often at Eagle games. This is the result of some classless, drunk low-life’s getting pissed off because the 49ers were probably coming back and they were scared. I’m not defending it. I’m not saying it was right. It wasn’t, and being an Eagles fan it’s embarrassing and terrible to know that I’m grouped with these people. But from the Eagles games I’ve been to, if people go to the game and are respectful, they’ll get the jokes about their team, which is to be expected, but they don’t get hassled or abused like this. It hasn’t happened to you not because you’re big and tough, which I’m sure you are…, but because Philly fans really aren’t all that terrible. It’s just assholes like this that make the headlines and ruin it for everybody.
Bad things happens in every city, it just gets reported more if it involves Philly. Look on youtube, there is a video of dodger fans pouring beer on cops as a dodgers game. Don’t remember seeing that post up. Also, remember the father and son who tried to stab the White Sox’s first base coach? Don’t remember that being posted either.

what a classy bunch. and no, it doesn’t happen that way everywhere. never seen anything close to that at a texan’s game, even when i was one of many in an adrian peterson jersey.

The reason you don’t see it at a Texans game is because no one has the balls to admit they’re a Texans fan, you simple minded ass.
By the way, thank Adrian for that fumble on Monday night for us Philly fans. Really hit the spot.
Sven, how often is there snow at Texans games?
Not in the least bit surprising. Every team has trashy fans that’s simply unavoidable. It is no secret however that Filthadelphia takes it to a whole new level. You guys did hate on jolly old Chris Cringle. Who does that? Then again if my team lost in the NFC championship year in and year out I would be kinda bitter too.
the excuse that fans in other cities do it, doesn’t excuse this… at the Vet, they brought in a Judge because the bad behavior in the stands during the game was an issue… some fans call Philly talk radio bragging about harrassing fans from opposing teams, OR how they go into opposing stadiums where the Eagles play, and take over, when you have those kind of attitudes, it’s not suprising there will be problems… this stuff goes on, and Philly fans never understand WHY they get such a bad image nationally
I call BS on the video. It couldn’t be Eagles fans throwing those snowballs because they’ve all got their hand around their dinkus every time McNabb bends over on the field.
LOW CLASS BEHAVIOR FROM LOW CLASS IDIOTS.
i guess im late here by about 300 comments all mindlessly trashing eagles fans. and i take offense to that.
i will say that, sitting on the 50 yard line across the field, that was one of the funniest things id ever seen in my life. its not like they were the only ones getting hit. in my section there were guys who were just drunk and having a good time. its not like you start a snowball fight with your friends because he insulted your mother, you do it because its fun. people above us were just hurling up snowballs and whoever got hit got hit. its immature at the most but its not malicious. niners fans wearing niners jerseys know what theyre getting into at the linc. in fact, any fan wearing any away jersey at any stadium should know what to expect. philly fans just enjoy themselves maybe a bit too much.
oh and regarding the michael irvin thing thats being referenced very often here for some reason i dont get: the cowboys bring it on themselves when they act like that. cowboys fans have won the second most SBs and played in the most and they make sure everyone knows it and seem to think that, because of that, theyre americas team and they are the best. cowboys players are the cockiest douchebags in the nfl, second only to cowboys fans. we booed irvin because cowboys fans and players alike brought it upon him.
The people in Philly are generally classless and crude. Of course the fans of their sports teams would be even more so. Par for the course.
Hooby, I’m an Eagles fan, and the Cowboys might act like they’re the best, when recently they have nothing to show for it (except 24-0; I still have a bad taste in my mouth), but there’s no excuse for booing a player when he’s injured. He’s still a living, breathing human being, and when someone gets injured he should be in our prayers and we should support him. The competitive hatred we may or may not have for them as a rival player shouldn’t even be on our minds in instances like that.
Seriously? When will the collegiate systems of America start taking notice of the uneducated young adults they keep pushing into the world to be role models and spokemen for billion dollar empires??? On a different note, the Eagels have become the Bills of the new millinium. And just like the Bills of old, the Cowboys were there to hand them defeat after defeat after defeat!!! Like someone else said on here, when did constantly getting to playoffs, yet never winning the Super Bowl equal success??? When you can answer that one Ill start giving Monkey Boy McNabb proper recognition!!!!
It’s a well-known fact that the Philadelphia Eagles have some of the biggest losers cheering for them. Go figure. NcNabb and many other Eagles players are a class act. As for the fans? Well, many of them don’t even deserve the right to buy tickets and attend the game. Too bad some adults don’t know how to grow up.
where is the security? Those fools should be thrown out. The person in the yellow jacket isnt even paying attention. the Jail most already be full of losers.
“Like to see them try that with a couple of Vikings fans. Green and white and red all over. Punks.”
Never saw so many fat, non-threating fans then when I went to the Metrodome. Most of the Viking fans I saw would have been beached whales once the snowballs started hitting them.
This is what happens when you KNOW the season ending embarassing loss is coming in a few weeks but there is nothing you can do about it. Take it out on innocent fans of opposing teams because you just can’t deal with the fact that you are a loser and so is “your” team. Pathetic.
The thing that pisses me off about Eagles fans is not the snowball throwing at 49ers fans (I am one) or even the Vick loving (I hate him) its when they say shit like “Donovan needs to go.” Fine let him go! The 49ers will take him! We would love a QB who gets us to the playoffs every single year! We would love a QB that has only had two good WRs in his career and took one to the SB (TO). You guys think its your god given right to go to the playoffs every single year. You should be so lucky. In the NFL now if you have a solid QB you can go to the playoffs almost every year look at the Colts, Steelers, Pats, Chargers all have solid QBs all go to the playoffs year after year after year. I bet the Bears will be in that boat soon too as well as the Redskins when Shanahan finds a solid QB. You guys are insane and I hope they do get rid of Donovan so the 49ers can take him and go to the post season. Ask a Cardinals fan if they would want Donovan to go to the Niners? I’m no trying to talk Sh*t or anything Cards fans I’m just saying I’m sure you guys would not want him on the 49ers any more than I would want him on the Seahawks or Rams.
“As the holder of two MMA title belts, a 31-0 record, with 28 of those fights ending in either knock-out or submission.. You’ve watched “Enter the Dragon” one too many times Internet tough guy.
I saw some outlandish comments on here a few weeks back and did a little research. What surprises me is that Ronin didn’t think anybody but him could use the internet.
I checked out every supposed fighter I could… and there is no MMA fighter with a 31-0 record with 28 stoppages… ZERO… in the world under any sanctioning body… presumably in any sport either… I did find a couple guys that had 31 losses and 0 draws, they may have been stopped 28 times.. but seriously…. 31-0 (28)… did you think you would boast of a record that no other MMA fighter in the world could touch and nobody would check? Sure, there’s Roger Huerta from France… but how many Frenchies talk smack on an NFL forum?
So here it is, Ronin, I’m calling you out. Put up, or shut up. I say you’re lying. Time to prove you’re not.
