It may be the night before Christmas, but there was plenty of stirring today in the NFL’s league office.
Raiders fullback Luke Lawton has been suspended four games for violating the league’s policy on performance enhancing substances, according to the Oakland Tribune.
Lawton is ineligible to play the rest of this season and the first two games of next season. He’s played in all 13 games this year, starting three.
Super Bowl touchdown scorer Gary Russell has converted to fullback, and is the only fullback on Oakland’s active roster.
He should be suspended for not blocking.

Or catching
sickening cheater!!!!
there is a shocker for players to be doing steroids and yet they only kill you
once they make a test for human growth hormone (if), you will see quite a bit of popular names on that list.
With the Raiders palying as crappy as they have this year, performance enhancing substances should be MANDATORY for the entire team.
Triple doses for Jafatass.
What are we going to do without his patented fullback screen for a 1 yard gain? This really screws up Cable’s whole game plan this weekend.
Good god, how bad would that team be if they DIDN’T cheat??!?!
Chuck Norris is never suspended. The league knows better.
Take some of those drugs to the Buccaneers.
I agree with the comment above, this will surely screw up the Raiders plans for the 1 yard screen pass on 3rd and long.
Otherwise they would probably win tomorrow…..NOT!
