Lawton suspended four games

It may be the night before Christmas, but there was plenty of stirring today in the NFL’s league office.

Raiders fullback Luke Lawton has been suspended four games for violating the league’s policy on performance enhancing substances, according to the

Oakland Tribune.

Lawton is ineligible to play the rest of this season and the first two games of next season. He’s played in all 13 games this year, starting three.

Super Bowl touchdown scorer Gary Russell has converted to fullback, and is the only fullback on Oakland’s active roster.
