Rivers makes his MVP case

Before Friday’s game, Philip Rivers was already in the top two of my mythical MVP vote.

He’s threatening to take over the lead.

Rivers’ performance against the Titans was typical of his season. He constantly tested Tennessee’s secondary with vertical passes, but he threw only six incompletions on 27 attempts.

Rivers combines big plays with great decision making. It was nearly a flawless outing, like many of his games this year.

Rivers’ stats are as strong as anyone’s.  His yards-per-attempt average leads the league. His touchdown-to-interception ratio is equal to Brees’ and better than Manning’s.  All three players carry their respective franchises; Rivers gets no help from his running game, and the Chargers’ defense has been average overall.

Watching all three quarterbacks play a number of games, I’d argue Rivers has actually been slightly more consistent than the two favorites for the MVP award.

Rivers has enjoyed his MVP moments: The scintillating touchdown drive to beat the Giants; the throw to Malcolm Floyd under pressure to set up the game-winning field goal against the Bengals; even the Week One drive to beat the Raiders was memorable.

When Rivers gets a chance to win a game late, he pulls it off.

I’m not sure yet Rivers deserves the award, but he deserves serious consideration. If he had put this year together in 2008, he would have won the trophy easily over Manning.

For now, Rivers can enjoy the knowledge that he’s made it to a truly elite fraternity of quarterbacks.

Like Manning and Brees, he’ll be watching the wild card round of the playoffs from home, waiting to get back on the field to try winning something that matters more than any award.

As good as he is, with no running game to speak of, and a defense that isn’t dominant, I just can’t see the Chargers going all the way.
They might make some noise, but when it comes to beating an elite team, Rivers alone just won’t be enough.

Those are some GREAT stats, no doubt.
Almost identical to Tony Romo’s, whom many of you say ” sucks”
Yet one is MVP numbers and one not. Typical.
    Rivers- 25 td 9 int,3891 yards, 64% 277 per game
    Romo 23 td 7 int 3886 yards, 62 % 277 per game
I guess for now “Romo can enjoy the knowledge that he’s made it to a truly elite fraternity of quarterbacks. ”
    MVP!MVP! MVP! MVP!

Hopefully Rivers finishes ahead of Favre though just because

If Manning wasn’t having an incredible year I’d give it to Rivers in a heartbeat. The Colts won 3-4 games this year they shouldn’t have because of Manning. If Manning falters and Rivers excels early rounds of the playoffs then I would surely give it to Rivers.

Not a Colts fan, but to use the words “cry baby” referring to Manning in a sentance with the name “Phillip Rivers”, is an insult to crybabies everywhere.
Manning is a whiner, to be sure, but Phillips sets the bar for NFL crybaby QB’s. In fact, with LT et al, San Diego wins the Lombardi Trophy in Crybabies. year in and year out. The ONLY thing they are repeat champs in.

Phillip Rivers is easily the most overlooked, underrated QB in the league, but there is no way he wins the MVP this year over Peyton. The Colts are only the 3rd team in history to go 14-0. Peyton would have to crash and burn their final 2 games for Rivers to get a legitimate shot. But I think it’s a done deal, Peyton gets the all-time record 4th regular season MVP.

  16. Alibaba says: Dec 26, 2009 10:45 AM

Rivers barely gets into the top 5 this year…Manning, Johnson, Brees, Farve all will score ahead of him. And Chunky is correct — Romo deserves better. He is in the biggest pressure cooker in all sports and unless he puts a ring on then he isn’t elite. Guess what — Romo is fine with that double standard. Funny that Rivers doesn’t have the same criteria.

CHUNKY – Know the difference between Tony Romo and Phillip Rivers? Rivers doesn’t CHOKE at crunch time, and leads his team to crucial victories. MVP isn’t just about stats, its about a players NET affect on their teams performance.
Tony Romo = Brian Griese when you measure his overall crunch time winning performance, not just stats.
That said, if Rivers would shut his mouth, it would be easier to give him credit where due.

Manning and Rivers aside, any talk about a “crybaby” quarterback begins and ends with Jay Cutler. Period.
Manning will win the MVP award even if he only plays one series in the last two games, just because he’s Manning. Media darling and avid pitchman.
Barring any upsets, the AFC Championship game should be a good one. 14-0 is mighty impressive even if only 3 of the 14 are teams with winning records.

Peyton Manning for mvp is complete BULLSPIT!
Brees, Rivers, Favre, and Rogers are all ahead of Manning. Manning has been sacked only about ten times? each of these other guys has been sacked more than double and as much as nearly 5 times as manning. MANNING HAS NO PRESSURE—-best offensive line
None of these guys has a PRO BOWL TIGHT END and a TOP 5 RECIEVER in the league.
People who say Manning has nothing to work with are BLINDED by the media’s love for him.
Bottom line….Rivers, Brees, Favre and C Johnson are more deserving of MVP….and maybe even Rodgers

Of those two, Manning is it. Especially with the come backs in the face of adversity. The guy is a pressure performer, and IMO the best that’s ever played the position.
Given the same situations, Romo would have melted down and sat smiling in a dazed stupor on the bench… oh wait… I mean Romo HAS melted down and sat smiliing in a dazed stupor on the bench.
Double standard for Romo in Dallas? Give us all a break. Please!!! How about doing what Troy Aikman did… Um, lets see- WIN? You think that winning at least a conference is too much pressure for Romo, and you want him to be considered as an MVP???? NOT.

“14-0 is mighty impressive even if only 3 of the 14 are teams with winning records.”
First of all, it’s 4 teams with winning records (AZ, NE, BAL, DEN), but if you don’t count games against the Colts, here are the Colts’ opponents’ overall records:
    New England (9-4)
    Arizona (9-4)
    Baltimore (8-5)
    Denver (8-5)
    Miami (7-6)
    Jacksonville (7-5)
    Houston (7-5)
    Tennessee (7-6)
That accounts for 11 games, leaving only San Fran, Seattle, and St. Louis as the only teams below .500.

  33. golongboyee says: Dec 26, 2009 11:54 AM

Despite what all these people say, Manning is NOT having that great of a year. He has turned into an interception machine. The reason the Colts are as good as they are is because they are NOT having to lean on Manning. They are more of a team than they have ever been. When the Colts go out the first round of the playoffs and it is because Manning throws three picks, all those that think it should go to him will be eating crow.

  34. garylandon41 says: Dec 26, 2009 11:54 AM

You people giving it to Manning without question are just as blind as the media that loves Manning.
SO he’s had 4th quarter comebacks this year, well his 15 interceptions put him in those deficits.

  35. nfloco says: Dec 26, 2009 11:56 AM

  36. Facts Domino says: Dec 26, 2009 11:57 AM

They should rename it the Peyton Manning trophy. That is how deserving he is of the award each and every year, because without him this season the Colts are looking at a 3-13 record at best.

  37. dave says: Dec 26, 2009 12:01 PM

i’m just glad rivers is in the conversation
he’s the most hated qb in the nfl so to be in the conversation, he’s gaining some respect at least
chris johnson doesn’t deserve to be mentioned for mvp and i’ll explain why:
last year rivers led the nfl in yards per attempt, qb rating , tied for tds, and was all around brilliant
but due to a poor w/l record (thanks defense!) he wasn’t in the conversation, and we all know that’s because people hate his feistiness on the field.
Chris Johnson does not deserve the mvp talk because as good of a season as he’s having, he’s on a 7-8 team
you have to give mvp to a person on one of the top winning teams, who has good stats, and right now that’s peyton, brees rivers or even favre. (hell i’d consider aaron rodgers before CJ, rodgers is on a winner and has 28 tds to only 7 ints)
i’m all for giving CJ the offensive player of the year though, and i do think he’s a shoe-in for that award
but if CJ does win MVP, that means Rivers got big-time screwed in 2008
and all because people are afraid of a qb who acts like a linebacker…..stupid people

  38. Lights Out 56 says: Dec 26, 2009 12:12 PM

All of you guys need to stop riding Peytons’ Jock. Peyton didn’t do anything special at all this year. What the hell did Manning do last year to deserve any kind of MVP award. He lead his team right to a loss to Philip Rivers and the Chargers. Rivers had the highest passer rating. I don’t understand why Philip wouldn’t get MVP. Chargers have absolutley no running game, our Defense is banged up, we are down to our 4th DT. But yet the Chargers are still 12-3 got the 2nd seed. Philip Rivers has the 2nd highest QB rating in history next to Steve Young. He’s never lost in december (18-0). This guy gets no love. You guys watch when Peyton retires it’ going to be the River’s era!

  41. BoltsPUNTColts says: Dec 26, 2009 12:27 PM

To all of you who doubt rivers, I bet you haven’t seen more than one game in which he plays. He moves the ball AT WILL! I’ve seen Manning play lots of times and he is good but no way as automatic as rivers. Also, keep in mind two things: A) Last year rivers lead the league in QB rating of 105, a full 8 point ahead of second place. This year he is, as of this week, behind only Drew Brees in QB rating. And B) Rivers has knocked Manning out of the playoffs the last two years, not to mention defeating Manning in week 14 a couple of years ago, the last time Manning was going for a perfect season at 13-0. The Colts are shaking in their boots right now and I’ll bet you dollars to peanuts they’ll gladly give up 2 or 3 of their wins this season in return for not having to play the Chargers or Manning will willingly pull out of the MVP race in return for a promise not to have to face Rivers and the Chargers. Sad but true :)

  42. Facts Domino says: Dec 26, 2009 12:31 PM

OMFG the ignorance in this post makes my head want to explode. Lying scumbags like you shouldn’t be allowed access to a PC.
Manning has made stars out of rookie Austin Collie (4th round) and Pierre Garcon (6th round) and no one on his offensive line was higher than a 4th round. The Colts running game is abysmal and the offensive line is average (and this is being GENEROUS) but Manning makes them look better due to his ability to get rid of the ball quickly (league low 10 sacks!!!!! other QBs including Rivers have FAR better O-lines).
Manning has also been clutch this year and led them to 7 come from behind four quarter wins this season, not to mention his team is 14-0. His D is still average at best – given 15min of time of possession he beat the Dolphins (a historical precedent) and his D is the bottom of the league in giving up 3rd down conversions, hence giving the Colts fewest offensive possessions in the league.
GET A F*CKING CLUE YOU *IGNORANT* MORON. You CLEARLY have NO Idea what you’re talking about and are wasting bandwidth on the internet

Thank you for proving you have absolutely no football knowledge and are another lying scumbag.
Dallas Clark has never made the Pro Bowl (although he will this year) and Reggie Wayne is a Top 5 receiver because of his route running and precision – he is not a burner, not a true deep threat nor is he a 6’5 monstrosity like the three Plaxico Burress clones in San Diego whom Rivers only has to lob in the general vicinity of.
Manning has made stars out of rookie 4th rounder Austin Collie and Pierre Garcon 6th rounder, despite having zero prior experience with them and heading into the season expecting Gonzalez to be a primary receiver. The Colts offense hasn’t skipped a beat despite having ZERO running game for the second straight year and teams taking Reggie Wayne away and forcing Manning to beat them with Collie and Garcon.
The Colts offensive line is PUTRID – anyone who knows football and watches them play can see this. Anyone who knows football knows that the line is good at pass protection because of Manning’s quick release (resulting in a league low 10 sacks) and pocket presence. Anyone who says the Colts O-line is one of the best clearly has no idea what they are talking about and has obviously never watched a Colts game. They are dead last in the league in Adjusted Line Yards too.
No pressure LOL – is that why he leads the leagues in pass attempts and has led them to 7 4th quarter comebacks this season? Manning is CARRYING this team whether you want to admit it or not. If opinions are like as*holes then yours stinks the most.

Rodgers should absolutely be above Favre in this race. His stats are flat out better, especially when you consider his 300 yards and 4TDs rushing this season, which have been huge. He is having an absolutely phenomenal season and the Pack would not nowhere near the playoffs without him. It’s like no one realizes he’s on pace for this stat line:
    4,500 yards passing
    33-35 TDs
    7-9 INTs
350 yards rushing (most by a QB)
    5 rushing TDs
    11 or 10 wins
He should be in the discussion, no question. He won’t win, and shouldn’t win, but he deserves some respect for the season he’s having.

Not a Colts fan, but if you have a problem with Peyton Manning you need to look in the mirror. The guy is as standup as they come. Not an ounce of arrogance out of the guy.
Rivers is a great QB, but the guy is not easy to root for. His inability to control his mouth shows his lack of focus and discipline. On top of that, the season is 16 games long and the Chargers consistently year after year take the first half of the season off.

  60. daffy87 says: Dec 26, 2009 2:34 PM

@lights out – It’s a regular season MVP award…saying Peyton shouldn’t have it last year because they lost to the Chargers in the post-season is a non-argument. This year Peyton is playing great, without him the Colts would be below .500 they are 14-0….Peyton is the MVP

  61. Lights Out 56 says: Dec 26, 2009 3:01 PM

@daffy87 – I understand that but what did Peyton do last year to deserve it in the first place? They weren’t undefeated by any stretch. He didn’t put up big numbers at all. River’s on the other hand had the best QB rating won four pressure games in a row at the end to squeak in the playoffs. What does that tell you. We went
8-8 with a QB that had the best rating. I mean cmon this guy has never thrown more than 2 interceptions in one game in 4 years! That sounds like a Most Valuable Player to a team to me. This is the most popular player award.

  62. EskinSux says: Dec 26, 2009 3:29 PM

Geez…..With a name like Pack83…i’m amazed you put Rodgers in front of Favre..Truly..Packers fans need therapy…..who cares who finishes 4th or 5th?

  63. Jagerbolt says: Dec 26, 2009 3:45 PM

People who call Rivers a crybaby have no idea what they are talking about. Name something as an example besides the Rivers/Cutler jarring from over 2 years ago. And now everyone knows that Cutler is the biggest tool in the NFL – who wouldn’t tell him off?
Look up interviews where they ask Rivers what he thinks of Cutler. He’s never said a single negative thing about him. Unlike crybaby who has bashed Rivers multiple times.
The public may never get past that incident but the guy is an elite QB and has lead this team to many clutch come from behind victories. He is a true leader and you can tell that his teammates love and respect his fiery play. And don’t fool yourself into thinking that Manning, Brady or Favre haven’t talked trash to other players.

  64. SDBrohon says: Dec 26, 2009 3:50 PM

Rivers is better than Manning. Don’t care what any of you haters say, he should get the MVP. Later bitches, have fun licking the diarrhea on the outer edge of Peyton’s ass!!!

  65. Reptar says: Dec 26, 2009 3:55 PM

I can’t believe how many people are commenting that obviously just have not watched games this year. I’d wager that at least half of Manning’s INTs were either tipped at the line or tipped by one of his receivers. It’s been an unlucky year in that way. An INT is an INT, I guess, but there’s a difference between a bullseye to a CB and your TE gifting a pass that hit him in the hands to a LB.
Manning has had to do more with less than Rivers. The only established weapons Manning has are Wayne and Clark. Rivers has Jackson and Gates (which at least = Wayne and Clark) as well as Floyd and Naane. Manning’s fourth option right now – Hank Baskett – has one reception for 5 yards on the year. I guess the Bolt/Colt running games are somewhat comparable, but I’d still give the edge to the Bolts.
All that said, yeah, Rivers should still be a top 3 candidate and should still have a shot at winning it. He’s been consistent all year. And even if he’s had more weapons than Manning, it’s no question that his play (like Manning’s) has *made* his guys better.
Also, for all those out there saying the Chargers will bounce the Colts or own the Colts or whatever…fine. That’s legit. But let’s not act like the Chargers are anything close to clutch in the playoffs. The media lets them off way too easy for some of the chokejobs they’ve had in recent years. The Rivers-era chargers have yet to play in a Super Bowl, let alone win one.

  66. Facts Domino says: Dec 26, 2009 4:10 PM

Rivers isn’t clearly better than Eli much less Peyton. Keep dreaming.

  67. Fan of Football says: Dec 26, 2009 4:12 PM

    Pack83 ,
Who cares about AR’s numbers, he is in a pass first offense. Fact is that they have the #1 D in the NFL. Also, players with 5 losses usually don’t get the award.

  68. Fan of Football says: Dec 26, 2009 4:16 PM

” I’d wager that at least half of Manning’s INTs were either tipped at the line or tipped by one of his receivers. ”
You can say that about pretty much every QB. So it is irrelavent, it all evens out between peers.

  69. Pack83 says: Dec 26, 2009 4:30 PM

If I’m not gonna vouch for ARod…who is?? :)
It’s more for vindication than anything else. Rodgers and Favre could conceivably finish with the same amount of wins, and Brent would probably still get more MVP votes, even though Rodgers statistically has now surpassed him and has done more with less, especially with the offensive line he had for the first half of the season.

  70. ronwintersucks says: Dec 26, 2009 4:33 PM

just an interesting stat to throw out there:
    Rivers – 12 turnovers
    Manning – 15 turnovers
    Brees – 17 turnovers
fumbles lost are just as bad as interceptions and reflect upon the qb.
also, nearly half of manning’s interceptions were not his fault, but rather the result of freak plays. ordinarily, i would not lend credibility to such a statement and say something like, “every qb has interceptions that aren’t his fault,” but everyone who’s watched the colts this year has seen perfect passes tipped in the air by rookie receivers, take magical bounces off helmets, and simply handed to the opposing team by clark. sure these kinds of things happen in the nfl, but i’ve never seen so many happen to one team in one season.

  71. buzzbissinger says: Dec 26, 2009 6:00 PM

Everyone knows Peyton is going to win. Then he’s going to do what he does every January; choke on Rivers’ c*ck and lose in the playoffs.

  73. Facts Domino says: Dec 26, 2009 7:29 PM

    Dear Buzz, aka Dumb ass.
At least you are right about half of it. Peyton will be the MVP.
Anyone who has a clue about Football and watched those to IND/SD games will know that Rivers wasn’t the reason the Chargers won and that Manning wasn’t the reason the Colts lost. Especially with Manning out playing Gomer head to head.

  74. Reptar says: Dec 26, 2009 7:53 PM

EXACTLY. Of course, people who haven’t watched the games won’t tend to believe this, or tend to believe that’s typical for all NFL QBs. Believe me, Peyton has been one of the most victimized QBs by unfortunate tips/bounces in the entire NFL this season.
And to all those still thumping their chests about the Bolts…you do realize they choke way harder than the Colts ever do in the postseason, right? The Colts choke for sure. But at least they have a ring to show for it. The Chargers haven’t even made it to a Super Bowl. Everyone knows LT quits in the postseason when it’s too cold outside to play, and Rivers is always going to be out-gunned in the end.

  75. chunky soupy sales says: Dec 26, 2009 8:17 PM

CHUNKY – Know the difference between Tony Romo and Phillip Rivers? Rivers doesn’t CHOKE at crunch time, and leads his team to crucial victories. MVP isn’t just about stats, its about a players NET affect on their teams performance.
    ______________________________________
That is pretty funny. And being that I am an NC State fan, and thus have always been a fan of Rivers, I still see as many Super Bowl rings on his fingers as Romo has.
The original post was talking about how great his stats are, and I proved they were almost identical to Romo’s, who you clowns trash at every opportunity.
Romo plays at the biggest pressure cooker in sports, QB for the Dallas Cowboys and these other QB’s don’t have a clue to that pressure. It is proven everytime someone calls him a ” bust”. As if an UNDRAFTED QB can be a bust.
Every time you guys type, you prove not only your bias, but lack of any knowledge concerning football. Had Rivers strutted into the Super dome and beat the unbeaten in a game he had ” no chance ” in, you would have carved his bust for Canton. When Romo did it it’s all of a sudden, ” not a big game” or a ” no crunch time” game.
You guys put the dic in ridiculous.
As for the net effect, remember when Romo missed 4 games last year and Dallas lost 3 of them and averaged over 14 points less? How many games do you think they would have won this year without Romo? about the same as SD without Rivers or Indy without Manning I would say.

  76. buzzbissinger says: Dec 26, 2009 8:20 PM

    Dear “Facts” Domino,
There still gonna be at home come Superbowl Sunday. Jot that down and put it under your pillow.

  77. Chargers-Superhero says: Dec 26, 2009 8:36 PM

First, There are so many stupid people on this post. Rivers is NOT a crybaby, never has been. Name one time he has been that. A crybaby whines to the media, Rivers is not that at all. He’s tough, fiery, and a competitor, like a QB should be. Not a crybaby you idiots.
Second, one idiot said they are NOT a elite team. Well who are the elite teams?? Colts, Chargers Saints, and Vikes have the 4 best records in the NFL.
Third, Colts have a WORSE rushing attack than the Chargers, so it makes no difference since the Colts, and Chargers are a “pass first” offense, and both average in the 80+ yards a game. That’s all they need to be 12-3, or 14-0 in this league.
Fourth, As for Rivers not being “clutch”. 18-0 as a starter in December. 45-18 as a starter so far. One of the TOP QB’s to lead 4th quarter comeback drives since he became the starter in 2006.
Sorry Dallas fans, Romo isn’t in that category. It takes more than just stats. The Rivers era in San Diego is only in it’s 4th season with a 3-3 playoff record and a trip to the AFC Championship game. Some people act like the era for him has been going on for 11 years like Manning. Manning has ONE SB in the past 10 years.
If anyone chokes in the playoffs it’s the Colts, especially to the Chargers in the past 2 years, and 1-4 against San Diego in the past 5 games against them. That’s the facts. Not just my opinion, but the facts. Not counting the 2006 season, how many “one and done” were the Colts in the playoffs??
I’m not talking trash like most of these idiots posting here, just stating the facts.
    1. Chargers, Colts, Saints, and Vikings, are the top elite teams in the NFL right now.
    2. Chargers and Colts have a not so great running attack, but still average in the mid 80+ yard range in a pass first style offense, but BOTH teams still WIN.
    3. Rivers knows how to win with his record since becoming a starter, check his stats people. It’s his 4th year as a starter and 3rd with Norv. What was Manning’s record as a starter, and playoff record in his first 4 years ?? Manning is a 11 year pro, he’s always going to have the edge because of that.
    4. Tony Romo can’t hold Rivers’ jock strap. Romo puts up stats, but chokes either in the regular season, or playoffs. He’s good, but hasn’t reached that level yet. It takes more than just stats to be a clutch QB. If everything was based on stats Rivers would have won the MVP in 2008 (4,009 yards 34 TD’s, 11 INT’s, 105.5 passer rating).
Most people who post these idiotic remarks are just talking trash because they either hate Rivers, or Manning, or whoever. Get the facts people. I hate Manning, Brady, the Broncos, but have enough sense to acknowledge certain facts, and stats to back things up.

  78. Reptar says: Dec 26, 2009 9:30 PM

I’m sorry, but if rings are all that matter in this league – as some of you seem to insinuate – then you simply can’t say the Colts choke worse than the Chargers. Until the Chargers hoist the Lombardi, they are chokers. If rings are all that matters, that is.

  79. Richm2256 says: Dec 26, 2009 9:34 PM

And the fact that your ID here is Chargers-Superhero has no bearing on this, right?
Please. You Chargers fans who say Rivers isn’t a whiny crybaby bitch probably think Tomlinson isn’t either. And you think he’s the best December QB ever, but conveniently forget dude hasn’t been to a single Super Bowl yet.
Shut the hell up until he’s actually WON something.

  80. SF Saints Fan says: Dec 26, 2009 9:47 PM

I love the back and forth on Manning:
He has nothing to work with and does more with less…..
He has a bunch of first round picks and has a great defense…….
    How about Brees?
    Stats:
    QB Rating
    Brees 109.4
    Manning 101.2
    Touchdowns/Interceptions
    Brees 33/11
    Manning 33/15
    Yards:
    Brees 4130
    Manning 4213
    First Rounders on Offense:
    Brees – 1
    Manning – 3
Players on starting Offense drafted in 4th round or lower:
    Brees – 7
    Manning – 7
    (Rivers – just for fun – 5)
    Record:
    Brees 13-1
    Manning 14-0
    (Rivers – just for fun – 12-3)
The only stat that is significantly different is the QB Rating advantage of Brees over Manning of a little over 8 points. The only other difference is the overall team records of 13-1 and 14-0. (A strong argument could be made that the Colts Defense is much better than the Saints and this should not benefit Manning.) We won’t know if this is a real difference until all 16 games are played. If the Colts finish 16-0 the MVP should go to Manning (regardless of how much he plays). If the Colts and Saints finish 15-1 then the MVP should go to Brees.

I know as a Pat’s fan what you tell is chowder dribbling down your chin is really you just finishing a session kneeling before Brady and Bellichick.
First of all, I want you to give me an example of Rivers being a Cry Baby. When did he act like a Cry Baby? Seriously. Site specific moments.
I can tell you when your QB ran straight into the lockerroom without talking to anybody after a loss. I can tell you when he stalked DBs across the field. I can tell you when he cried about not getting respect even though he was in every damn commercial. I can tell you when he insulted a coach that tried to compliment his team.
So why don’t you tell me when Rivers acted like a Cry Baby?

I’m sure that richm2256 would love to tell you all about the many times that PR has whined and cried. The only problem is that he’s got nothing. He’s just like all these other idiots that keep spouting this nonsense about the Chargers being a bunch of whiners. Of course, when you call ‘em on it they just change the subject and site the fact that the Bolts haven’t won the big one, yet.
