Fred Taylor active for Patriots vs. Jaguars

For the first time in nearly three months, New England Patriots running back Fred Taylor will play today.

Taylor, who opened the season as the Patriots’ starting running back but has been inactive for every game since October 4, is active for today’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Patriots’ inactives are third quarterback Isaiah Stanback, cornerback Terrence Wheatley, cornerback Darius Butler, running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis, guard Rich Ohrnberger, defensive tackles Titus Adams and Vince Wilfork and offensive tackle Nick Kaczur.

The Jaguars’ inactives are wide reeiver Tiquan Underwood, safety Courtney Greene, linebacker Torrance Daniels, tackle Tra Thomas, center Cecil Newton, guard Paul McQuistan, tight end Zach Potter and defensive tackle Greg Peterson.
