PFTV looks at Cowher-to-Bucs rumors

On Sundy, word broke that the Buccaneers are interested in former Steelers coach Bill Cowher.

The Bucs privately have denied the rumors, and their current coach thinks that if his job was in jeopardy the owners would tell him . . . just like they did when lining up Morris to replace Jon Gruden.

Enter PFTV, with the swanky Jacksonville satellite hookup, to discuss the situation.

As a Steelers fan I would love to see Cowher come back to the NFL….whether or not you like the Steelers you have got to love his style!
That being said, I would much rather see him get the Carolina job that is cut out for him….but Tampa would be interesting….anywhere but the AFC North is “A OK” by me .

The steelers never payed BIG money to one player but they always spent most of their salary cap. Tampa will have to commit to spend most of theirs in order to attract a decent coach.

Coach Sal is very much in touch with inside info regarding the Bills and supposedly Buffalo is very much in the mix.

Yeah. It’s always that way on the job. The boss tells the person who’s being fired first (well, at least second–after security I mean).

Yo ‘weenieD’ get a new rip…that “radio” spank is tired and immature….
Not one coach, past or present with the Bucs current talent could win. That being said Morris has his farm team playing way above and beyond and found a way to completely stop the most potent offense in the league…
How long did it take Cowher to win?…like 15 years?…and that was with a very raw talent Rothlesberber….Cowher is mediocre at best. NOT someone I would throw the farm at….
