Ochocinco will get his chance to escape Revis Island

ll week long, Chad Ochocinco has promised to do what other top wide receivers couldn’t this season: escape Revis Island.

But when the Jets Defensive Player of the Year candidate Darrelle Revis missed practice Wednesday with an illness, there was briefly a concern that the Island could be closed for the weekend.

Revis returned to practice Thursday, so the showdown remains on.  And Ochocinco, in a hilarious picture posted to his Twitter account, doesn’t sound worried.

If you guys want to see something funny, watch Ochocinco on Sports Soup’s year end clipdown.
I’ll admit most of Chad’s antic’s I don’t find funny (Like the picture above), but his segment on Sports Soup was by far the funniest sports related clip I’ve seen all year.

He’ll be covered nicely on the bench.

Did Pacman Jones pick out Revis’ clothing……? Talented football player, but he looks like a homo there…..

That picture is something that I might have found funny in second grade but for sure not since.
Has Ochocinco been tested for retardation? Seriously.

Go Chad go beat the slim out of the JETS
Please do not lay down and let this team make the playoffs they suck and have sucked for as long as they have rented from the Pro team that plays in the meadowlands

Chad won’t play more than a few snaps, but I bet the second and third stringers will be trying to wear the Jets out for the playoff game.

    @Bigbluefan
just because the giants had a bigger down fall than the jets doesnt mean you have to root against them. suck up your pride and stop making fun of other teams because yours couldnt defend against a high school team

    I dont see the hilarity.
I never have and prolly never will understand what anybody finds funny about his “antics”?
Its possible I’m stupid. But its more likely that he just isnt funny. Unless your a talking head or media outlet looking for something to babble about to fill time between actual stories of interest.
He can play. He loves himself. He’s so far from funny its embarrassing.

Please just let us beat the Dolphins and let this stupid Twitter post mean the Bengals are really planning to play their starters against the Jets. Surely he’s not mouthing off if he’s not gonna play.

Does anyone really care about what is posted on Twitter? I mean, seriously. There are a millions of sites out there that are just like Twitter that are actually better.

BigBlueFan, how can the Jets suck when they have the #1 defense and are #1 in rushing in the NFL?
Don’t look now, but your bitterness and jealousy is showing.
