Vick probable for Sunday showdown

When the Eagles face the Cowboys in Week 17 game that will have a huge impact on the NFC playoff seeding, they’ll likely have at their disposal the change-of-pace quarterback who in recent appearances has been generating touchdowns, for a change.

Quarterback Mike Vick, who didn’t practice last week with a quad injury, didn’t play against the Broncos, and missed practice on Wednesday, is listed as probable.

Vick fully participated in practice on Thursday and Friday.

Coach Andy Reid said that Vick will be the backup quarterback on Sunday, and that he could play. “Yeah, he could,” Reid said. “He’s feeling good. He practiced today. We have a couple things in for him. I look forward to getting him back in there and playing.”

Also probable for the Eagles are receiver Reggie Brown (shoulder), center Nick Cole (knee), safety Quintin Demps (ankle), guard Max Jean-Gilles (ankle), and receiver Jeremy Maclin (foot).

No other Eagles appear on the injury report. Center Jamal Jackson tore an ACL on Sunday, and he has been placed on injured reserve.
