Hip surgery prevented former Browns coach Romeo Crennel from coaching in 2009.
Now he’s ready to go, and ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports he should have a job waiting for him in Kansas City. Todd Haley and Scott Pioli wanted to hire Crennel last year, and now he’s available.
The question, then, is what position Crennel will take. There has been speculation that defensive coordinator Clancy Pendergast will lose his job, and this news makes that sound more likely.

Sounds like there will be a lot of “Hoopla” in KC.
i definitely do not understand this whole New England regime in KC. Are they going to get Weis there too and fire Haley and find a New England related head coach? Maybe Bruschi, Rodney Harrison, and Troy Brown can be position coaches…..
Nice, now he can smile and pat chiefs on the back for a crappy job! Please let Holmgren make a difference…
Romeo needs to go back to NE and teach them how to play pass defense.
Does this mean no more coors light commericals? Why don’t the chiefs take a lesson from the browns ? Good luck with Mr. Butterworth.
i love it!
now if we can get a good o-cord with some line experience and we’ll be in business
