Chicago Bears wide receiver Devin Hester is likely to play today at the Detroit Lions after missing the last three weeks with a calf injury.
Jason La Canfora of NFL Network reports that the Bears expect to have Hester on the field for the season finale.
Although Hester is nominally the Bears’ No. 1 wide receiver, Chicago hasn’t seemed to miss him much. Bears quarterback Jay Cutler had his best game of the season on Monday night against the Vikings without Hester.
Overall this season Hester has 54 catches for 682 yards and three touchdowns.
