Injuries hit Boldin, Campbell, Rodgers-Cromartie

The Arizona Cardinals took the cautious approach to today’s game against the Green Bay Packers, pulling quarterback Kurt Warner early to preserve him for next weekend’s playoff game.

But even teams that take the cautious approach can have players suffer injuries, and the Cardinals did today: Cardinals wide receiver Anquan Boldin, defensive end Calais Campbell and cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie all suffered injuries in the loss to the Packers.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Boldin has a sore ankle and knee but should be OK. Schefter also reports that Campbell fractured his thumb and might need screws put in it.

Rodgers-Cromartie said there’s “no doubt” he’ll play next weekend, even though he at first thought his knee injury was “way worse.”
