Torry Holt highlights Jaguars-Browns inactives

We’ve known for some time that Torry Holt would miss Sunday’s season finale against the Browns, but the news still seems worthy of a special mention.

Holt will miss a game for the first time since the 2005 season and he’s out for just the third time since he entered the NFL in 1999. Holt has caught one pass in each of the 173 games he’s played in his career.

The other Jaguars inactives are tight end Marcedes Lewis, cornerback Rashean Mathis, center Cecil Newton, tackle Tra Thomas, guard Paul McQuistan, defensive end Julius Williams and cornerback Kennard Cox.

The Browns inactives include two regular starters. Defensive end Kenyon Coleman and tackle John St. Clair will both miss the game as will wide receiver Brian Robiske, defensive back Coye Francies, defensive back Gerard Lawson, linebacker Titus Brown, defensive tackle Titus Adams and tight end Greg Estandia.
