When it comes to postseason awards, the NFL hands out only three -- the Super Bowl MVP, the Pro Bowl MVP, and the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year.
The bulk of the postseason prizes come from the Associated Press, which uses a 50-person voting precinct to determine seven different honors and the All-Pro team.
With the help of NBC P.R. guru Adam Freifeld, we’ve tracked down the tentative schedule for the unveiling of the awards.
January 6 (morning): defensive rookie of the year.
January 6 (afternoon): offensive rookie of the year.
January 7 (morning): comeback player of the year.
January 10: MVP.
January 13 (morning): defensive player of the year.
January 14 (morning): offensive player of the year.
January 15 (morning): All-Pro team.
January 17: coach of the year.
