Packers are the team to beat in the playoffs, hottest NFC team by far.
Cowboys suck, Pack dominated them.
Vikings beat the Pack, but in competivie games, and against our 3rd string LT, and w/o Finely, and Bigby. (Vikings fans like to forget this)
Arizona is not in the Packers league at the moment.
Eagles, only decent opponent for the Packers aside from the obvious Saints.
Saints, kinda sucks when you peak in October huh?

Can’t sell all their tickets. I’ve got an idea, move them to L.A. Why don’t we just close down all the teams in the “small markets” and just have teams in New York and L.A. If we had this attitude back in the 50s and 60s the Steelers and Packers wouldn’t even exist. The Bucs and Seahawks would have been moved in the 80s. I’m sick of stories of fan bases who can’t support their teams. We’ve been going through the worst economy since the Great Depression and every hiccup in ticket sales means the sky is falling and that we should move teams like they are monopoly pieces. I just love the arrogance of these elitist fans from the wine and cheese markets.

Sorry Schaur3r, Cincinnati is a small market club in a down area, and does not have the history of GB. GB is an anomoly in the NFL, and the fan base is fantastic. I have been to games there and it is one of the best stadiums to be an opposing fan in, but my point is that Florio bangs on us for barely selling out a few games against low level non-competing opponents, but when a playoff game that is not the Bengals has trouble selling out, he has someone else write an article.
And all games always have some tickets available because Ticketmaster, Stub Hub, etc. always buy some up to sell. Sold out means that the team has sold all the tickets to someone, and they don’t care who bought them.

Oh please, “Genius.” If that pool company didn’t buy the last several thousands tickets, the game against the Falcons would not have sold out. And that was with the smaller configration of U of Phoenix stadium.
And here is another for you. To keep Eagles fans out, the Cards would only sell to Arizona residents for the Eagles game. I had to have my buddy in AZ get me the tickets.
I lived in the Phoenix area for over 4 years. There are no real Cardinals fans. Only those that show up when they think it is cool to do so.

Let the truth be spoken. A high number of tickets were set aside as carryover by the Cards in hope that Packer fans would grab them up. It was a genius move in an attempt to boost concession sales at the stadium. They knew food and drink sales would go through the roof with more Packer swine in attendance. Look for this to become a trend in future teams hosting the Packers.

Buffalo, NY – being a part of the “rust belt” – entered an “economic downturn” about 30 years earlier than the rest of the country and still hasn’t recovered.
Yet we managed to sell out nearly 80,000 tickets to watch a 5-10 football team play a #1 seed who everyone KNEW would not be playing their starters in what amounted to a pre-season football game being played in the middle of a blizzard with near-zero temperatures.
And it was sold out by Wednesday.
Yet when it comes to teams moving to LA, EVERYONE wants to talk about Buffalo…

I just did a complete rundown on Ticketmaster of all the games scheduled in the Wild Card Round and the Divisional Round.
There ARE tickets available from the host teams for the following games:
Cowboys
Bengals
Patriots
Cardinals
That would mean that NONE of the Wild Card games are really “sold out”.
In the Divisional Round the following teams have tickets available:
Chargers
In the Divisional Round the following teams are SOLD OUT:
Saints
Vikings
The Colts game does not come up as “available”. I would assume that means it is sold out, but I cannot tell for sure.

Folks in cities in the West and South that grew so rapidly in the last two or three decades don’t have the connection with the sports teams in their towns that old rust belt cities do. They tend to jump on the bandwagon when the team is very good, but don’t stick it out year in year out. Anyway, this is a little overblown with the extra seats.
