Wilfork says he feels good

Vince Wilfork, the New England Patriots’ enormous nose tackle, missed the final three games of the regular season with a foot injury. But he says he’ll be ready to go for the Patriots’ playoff game against the Baltimore Ravens.

I’m feeling pretty good,” Wilfork said. “Best I can be.”

Wilfork said he thinks his presence is going to be particularly important because of the Ravens’ desire to pound the ball up the middle with running backs Ray Rice and Willis McGahee.

“They want to run the football, point-blank,” Wilfork said.

Patriots defensive lineman Ty Warren, who missed two of New England’s final three regular-season games, is also expected to be back.
