Big day for Early Doucet

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Early Doucet has played in 16 regular-season games in his NFL career, scoring a grand total of one touchdown.

In the first half of today’s playoff game against the Packers, Doucet already has two touchdowns.

Both of Doucet’s touchdowns have been 15-yarders, with the second one coming on a great catch-and-run over the middle on which four different Packers had a shot at him, but he got past them all.

Although Anquan Boldin is out today, that’s been no problem for the Cardinals’ passing game. Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner has completed passes to seven different receivers and is 12-of-14 for 140 yards overall.

At the two-minute warning of the first half, the Cardinals lead the Packers 24-7.

    Can we fire Ted yet?

  2. Relax, 1st year d. coordinator and Rodgers first taste of playoff football. Anyone thinking we were going to be ‘great’ this year was oblivious. If they don’t win a couple playoff games next season, then run someone out of town.

  3. Wild Card weekend games have been ultimate FAIL.
The only good game so far was the Jets/Bengals because both teams are of equal suck.

  4. Remember when the Packers thought they were gonna just roll over everyone after the pre-season ? I think they expected the same thing after AZ laid down for them last week.
I guess it’s why they play the games.

  5. As a man who had a boy 3 weeks late…Should i have named him……….”When the hell you coming out boy”?………What kind of name is Early?

  6. So far, Wild Card weekend looks like “Wild Bust” weekend – decided very, very early and uninteresting to a lot of fans unless your team is up by 24-0 in the 2nd quarter.

    __________
A family name, obviously, since he is named Early Doucet III. Probably a more original name than yours is my guess though.
