The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have had several guys on the wrong side of the window that separates the front seat and back seat of a police cruiser.
Now they have another.
Safety Jermaine Phillips, according to the tip from a reader regarding the online database of the Hillsbrough County Sheriff’s Office, was arrested today on felony charges of “domestic battery by strangulation.”
Phillips is being held without bond.
The 30-year-old Phillips was placed on injured reserve in September with a broken thumb. The nine-year veteran has spent his entire career with the Buccaneers.

The good news is that his thumb is healed. Assuming that it was a Homer Simpson style strangling.
who the hell cares?! there’s a phenomenal game going on right now.
ah Flip tell me it isn’t so.
Strangulation???? Dayem!!!!!!!
If he had broken both thmbs this never would’ve happened.
It’s good to see that the Bucs are making up for their bad play on the field by being criminals off of it.
Is he related to Lawrence Phillips?
Who the hell reads online databases of a Sheriff’s office and why?
why you little! braaahaahhahah!
Another example of the Rah Rag…No discipline and let’s just get buddy, buddy and hip bump until we’re drunk. Right Duemig? Go Clayton, Go Golloway, Go Rah..what a fricking joke this team and 620 WDAE afternoon radio is. Please Tampa, get rid of them BOTH. Thanks.
Look for the Eagles or Bengals to make a move for him in the off-season.
Eagles love chokers.
But be false the Bucs cant beat anyone
Go Colts
This guy is all thumbs
That’s what happens when you make the sammich wrong.
