Woodson, Rodgers help Packers strike back

The Green Bay Packers dug themselves a big hole in the first quarter today at the Arizona Cardinals, but they’re finally getting things together in the second quarter.

The Packers’ defense came up with a big play when cornerback Charles Woodson stripped Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald, and linebacker Clay Matthews scooped up the loose ball.

And then Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers led the offense on a six-play, 52-yard drive that culminated with Rodgers keeping it himself and scoring a one-yard touchdown run.

The Cardinals still lead 17-7, but the Packers are back in it.

  1. Zona just scored again. That Packer defense is gonna give up at least 500 yards today.
No worries, Packers fans, you still have Brett Favre.
    Oh…..never mind, you’re fukked.

  2. I’m really sorry for picking on you Packer fans. Lifes hard enough when you root for 1 and done loser. My apologies!

  3. Not looking good for the Packers. Overrated team and should not be in the playoffs. They went into the desert thinking they owned a Superbowl team because they can beat them in games that don’t matter. Boy, did they think wrong.

  4. Pervy, didn’t your mom ground you from the computer? As for one and done, let’s hear how much you talk next week…and this game is far from over.

  5. Very difficult for a young team to go on the road in a hostile evironment & beat a veteran team that’s been to a super bowl with a HOF QB. I was shocked at how many people were picking the Packers to win & some people picking them to win by a lot. Very obvious the Packers need to stop being so stubborn and sign 1 or 2 veteran free agents this offseason – and strengthen the OLine and Secondary to have any chance to go farther than 1st rd next season.

Are you trying to imply that the Saints will be playing the Cards in the NFC Championship? You are a poor, dilusional idiot. Especially since it is an impossible outcome. If the Cards win they cannot advance with the Saints when they play each other in the divisional round you goooof.

And just how hard is life when your team has never won a super bowl?

  12. Holy crap this game is turning into a thriller! Just what we all hoped for – a shootout that stayed competitive into the 4th quarter. The Packers are only down 1 score, I hope they can pull off the comeback…

  13. You Packers suck it!!! You couldn’t play defense if it hit you in the face!!! Warner ruled as I stated!

The Vikings were one and done last season, were they not? Yeah that’s what I thought.
