It’s not wise to get your hopes up like that. Take me for instance, I was absolutely positive the Packers would beat Arizona before getting completely and utterly humiliated by the Saints, and it came as quite a shock when they lost that game. Aim low, and it’s easier to accept when things don’t work out.

That was pretty horrible yeah. Someone needs to talk to him about that, as in tell him never to do it again.
It made even the Nick Barnett fencing routine and whatever the hell that is that Jared Allen get on his knees and does look hetero by comparison, and that is very hard to do.

It’s hard to tell which is the real “you” anymore, but I’ll assume this is.
You all may pack it in, watch hockey (or American Idol in your case) and go ice fishing the second your team loses, but I don’t. There are some potentially very exciting games coming up, and I look forward to watching them whether the Packers are in or not.
If nothing else, since I can’t root for the Pack anymore, I can still have a great time rooting against the Vikings this week, and against Dallas after that. Hate can actually be more fun than love sometimes.

Yeeeeah, right. Even if the Vikes win the Cowboys will still get more discussion, even if it’s just Florio heroicly taking jabs at them when they’re down, even though he strangely can’t find his voice when they’re up.
From what I’ve read the 0-3gles gave up their entire coverage scheme in the first couple of series of the game. That’s why those smoke routes worked over and over and over again against them. Never heard of a team running exploratory plays to expose coverage schemes before but that’s the Cowboys for ya, always innovating.

Regardless of what happens on Sunday, this has already been a great season for the Cowboys and their fans. I’m pretty sure they could care less about what another win might mean to the Redskins.

Right now, Dallas and Minnesota are playing like polar opposites. Dallas will bring a reality check to Minnesota, they can’t stop the Defense that’s on fire. Favre could be hurt if he plays the full game.
I predict Dallas and Arizona in the NFC Championship game- hosted in Arlington. You read it here first!
Favre will retire (again), and Minnesota becomes an 8-8 team (again).

It’s kind of sad, really. Cowboys/Redskins used to be a rivalry, perhaps the best rivalry in the NFL. Then Dan Snyder came along. He may have bought the Redskins but the Cowboys own them to the tune of 16-6 since Snyder got his sweaty little midget hands on them. You Redskins season ticket holders better make sure you can pay up when the time comes, or Snyder’s going to sue your stupid asses off hahaha
