In the wake of the surprise termination of Paul Pasqualoni, the Dolphins have wasted no time in lining up a successor.
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the team met on Wednesday with former New York Jets coach Al Groh.
Groh was fired by the University of Virginia after the 2009 season, and he has a long history with Dolphins V.P. of football operations Bill Parcells.

Did they comply with the Rooney Rule?
I suppose you mean former New York Jets coach Al Groh
damn. if al groh is coaching the jets, he looks alot like rex ryan
“Former” NY Jets coach?
Groh is a dipsh*t. Miami deserves better.
I believe that would be “former” N.Y. Jets head coach…. right? Once again, I would happily supply a resume to be a proofreader or ombudsman for the site
This surprises nobody…Al Groh will be a great hire.
The Rooney rule doesnt exist with the poo-bah tuna man
groh stinks on ice
Why would parcells want to hire al groh after he pulled a bobby petrino on him when he was head coach of the jets for a year and went back to college?
The “Rooney Rule” only applies to head coaching and senior football operations positions, not coordinators or the rest of the staff.
“According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the team met on Wednesday with New York Jets coach Al Groh.”
I think you mean FORMER New York Jets coach?
Haha now the Rooney Rule is an even bigger joke

Actually both Parcells and Groh left the Jets together. It was Belichick who pulled a shady, as he was supposed to take over in NY, not Groh.
Every day I check here looking for the facts behind the rumors.
Oh well, maybe tomorrow…
