So now Ochocinco is a pro-bowler? Talk about watering down an achievement. So basically the more people who are injured/don’t play the more pro-bowlers are created? Way to pad the resume.
Remember a few years ago when Vince Young went? He was 8th-9th alternate. Plenty of guys go who don’t deserve it, Chad’s one of them this time.

I don’t think any of us who actually watched chad this year think he lost much (except his mouth). His quarterback was no help, the other receivers on the team garnered no attention from the defense, and the game plan was shifted towards a heavy rushing attack. His numbers aren’t pro bowl numbers this year, but to say he’s overrated isn’t accurate either.

Still seeing a lot of sniffles here, you guys want a tissue or ten? The guy had a damn good year considering the offensive gameplanner and playcaller, not to mention the pass thrower and the stellar RB that got most of the work but none of the recognition.
But, alas, who cares, it’s the pro bowl, whoopty doo. Any fan or player would gladly trade it in to be playing this weekend or further.

As someone who isn’t a Bengals fan but thought the guy was funny, I started following him on twitter this year. I can tell you I am now a Chad OchoCinco fan, not so much because of his antics, but because he does in fact spend a lot of time thinking of others. I can’t tell you how many times this whole season he spent taking his fans out for meals or to the movies or flying them to games, things like that.
Yeah, the guy clowns around a lot, and I can understand why some people don’t appreciate it. But he also does a LOT to give back. In fact, right now he’s orchestrating a tour bus trip to Miami, where he’s taking 10 people with him to go from city to city to help out at hospitals, food banks, shelters and the like.
So love or hate the guy, but the idea that he only thinks of himself is absolutely ludicrous.

Can’t fault Ocho for getting shut down by Revis…. EVERYONE was shut down by Revis this year. Andre Johnson, TO, Moss, Steve Smith, etc.

Randy Moss has been selected to 7 Pro Bowls. Playing in 3. He has won ZERO Super Bowls. To answer your question, yes, he has played in Pro Bowls after having a losing season.
Pro bowl Years:
1998: Played in PB
1999: Played in PB
2000: Set PB recored with 212 REC yards.
2002: Didnt play
2003: Didnt play
2007: Didnt play
2009: Wont play
As he gets older, his interest in playing in the game will go down. I wouldnt be surprised if he doesnt PLAY in another PB game the rest of his career.

Vincent Jackson is indeed being robbed, as are both Santonio Holmes and Hines Ward with the likes of Chad Johnson, Brandon Marshall, and Wes Welker all apparently getting in line ahead of them. Wes Welker as a first-team All-Pro is a joke.
