Even if Cardinals offensive line coach Russ Grimm isn’t interesting in coaching the Bills, the Bills are still interested in Grimm.
According to Jay Glazer of FOX, the Bills hope that Grimm will change his mind about not interviewing with the Bills, now that the Cardinals’ season has ended.
Whether Grimm decides to make the move remains to be seen.
Maybe before firing their existing coach, the Bills should have considered that nobody would want to coach this sorry excuse for a franchise. Just maybe.
The Bills are now 3 months removed from firing Jauron and STILL have no replacement plan in place, except for begging people that already said they aren’t interested.
Who needs a coaching staff anyways??
Don’t do it, Russ.
Something better will pop open in a year or two.
I don’t think its a good fit. Bills are a team who kind of changed to a zone-blocking scheme last season and Grimm will want big, huge O-linemen. Bills are one of the few teams to still use this cover 2/tampa 2 defense. Grimm has been around 3-4 teams so will probably want to use a 3-4 defense. Its a complete rebuild job in Buffalo if Grimm took it and he might not want to bother we such a big job.
does that make him a wuss? maybe.
If they would have fired Jauron after the 08 season like they should have then maybe they wouldn’t be in the situation they are in.
My hometown’s high school football coach just went undefeated and won a state championship. Maybe he’d be interested.
Slow down Jack-O’s … seems like there’s a long way ’til next season. Hiring someone for sake of making you happy isn’t the goal.
“…sorry excuse for a franchise. “?
Wow, which franchise are you running?!? A local McDonalds I’d assume … not that there’s anything wrong with that …
you know it’s bad when Russ Grimm doesn’t want your job

2 months after signing him to a 3 year extention?
This situation, not being able to find a single decent coach who would be interested in a head coaching job, is finally making me realize just how dysfunctional the bills front office is.
And how big a joke the franchise has become across the league.
Does Grimm take the big money knowing he’ll probably get fired in two or three years? Yes. Because he’s been passed over too many times before. Not even his beloved Redskins were interested in their own Hog. Russ, take the money!
So the bills want him but he doesn’t want them. This is news?
DON’T DO IT RUSS!!
wheres the comments from wwwmattdotcom? these comments are priceless
grimm or fraizer i dont care. we need a HC. senior bowl is less than 2 weeks away.
Oh crap, Dolphin fans already invading this blog. Nothing else to do eh?
These speculating reports are just getting insane. I don’t see any reason why Grimm shouldn’t go for the spot, Coordinators leaving Buffalo have no problem getting jobs, so it won’t be a mark against him. Watching this Viking defense though, I’ll wait for Frazier.
Rex Ryan=, shouldn’t you be doing homework?
How about Vikings offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell as a candidate?
He is an offensive coach and will probably be mentioned for openings next season. The Bills could actually move ahead of conventional wisdom and interview him.
Hey Grimm- I don’t like your attitude- nor will I kiss your a**-Just say NO to an interview-become a coordinator first….huh?
please do not hire frazier,he will only keep running this crap tampa 2,and do not hire grimm,he is not the man to rebuild this team.the bills need to call Billick asap.
I’m sure that Tim Russert is rolling in his grave knowing that a guy named Russ doesn’t want to accept the Bills job.

I’m sure he doesn’t want to kiss your a$$
become a coordinator? That would be a demotion for him. He is the assistant head coach. That trumps a coordinator.
