Just another event in the laundry list of misguided moves by the arrogant and immature McDaniels. He just has to have his buddy Pees on the Broncos staff, even at the cost of pushing Mike Nolan out of Denver.
Now matter how it is sliced, Denver loses in the Nolan for Pees swap and jettisoning Nolan after one season should outrage Broncos fans and provide top management more than enough evidence to support the conclusion that McDaniels is not fit to lead an NFL team and should be fired!

McDaniels was a fly on an elephants ass in the only other NFL organization he ever worked for. He was a gofher for the first two years getting Belichicks coffee, he probably pissed in that, and when Weiss left for ND Belichick promoted him from QB coach to OC and Belicheck still called the plays.
He had no control and no real input into any significant management decisions while he was in NE. But you’ve got to give him credit for parlaying that into a Head Coaching job in Denver. Joe Ellis, the CEO with no real NFL experience either, hired him as the HC with Bowlen’s approval or perhaps lack of denial. And together with Ellis they’re methodically destroying a once proud franchise.
Denver is making the Raiders look like a respectable organization. How sad is that?

So far it seems McDaniels’ grand plan is to get rid of anybody who is any good. Last Year, the bright spot for the Broncos was that Vutler had a good year and looked like he may be a real franchise QB. Get rid of him
This year the only things the broncos had going for them was Brandon Marshal who made noodle arm Orton look good and Mike Nolan who somehow got Denver’s collection of defensive underachievers to actually play like a top notch defense for most of the year. Get rid of both of them.
Apparently McDaniels has a giant ego and will get rid of any player or coach that gets credit for Denver’s success. It seems clear McDaniels wants a team of yes men coaches and no-name players who will be loyal to him.

It’s a short list of head coaches who have gone elsewhere and won the big one. In fact, I can’t think of one. Parcells and Holmgren got their second teams to the big game, but couldn’t finish the job. Shula lost an SB as coach of the Colts and won in Miami. I think Don McCaffery won SB 5 as the coach of the Colts, not Shula.
Can anyone think of any others?

Oh, another New England cast-off? Who could’ve guessed?
Coach McDips**t can’t make up his own mind, so he has to try his best to mimic Belichick. Without Belichick – who actually is an innovative coach – Boy Blunder wouldn’t be working in The League today.
In the off-season, we’ll likely go after every ex-Patriot we can. With the exception of Wilfork, because he’s good and would cost real money. Pat can’t do that anymore. Shamahan depleted his fortune with all his free agent bulls**t while Pat stood idly by with this thumb in his a**.
Plus we don’t have one of those new stadiums that promised to generate the income that would allow Pat to spend on real players. Do we?
Can someone get John Ralston on the phone before the draft rolls around?

McDouche is only going to last one more year. Bowlen has too much class to fire him after one year like Al Davis would but he’s not going to get that team turned around next year and that won’t cut it in Denver. He’ll go 6-10, 8-8 tops. That schedule has a few gimmes but even Denver has proven they don’t win the gimme games. When you get beat by the Gayders at home, that’s disgraceful. Essentially the Broncos went 6-0 and then proceeded to lose to two college teams (Chefs and Gayders) and 6 others. WTF. I am a die hard Bronco fan but this is is disgusting. This guy has ruined a promising team in just one year. It’s amazing how bad he is. It’s bad enough to be a Charger fan since they always choke but at least they get to the post season. Broncos fans are in misery right now. Being average is awful.

really at best semi-successful….much as they did in 2006 the defense took advantage of playing some terrible offenses early in the season then fell apart down the streach…
coming out of the bye week a lot of teams ran the ball down their throats especially in the 2nd half of games…
