Say what you will about Woody but this comment has never been disputed.
Ellis is a long time marketing guy with no player evaluation experience, the same as McDaniels I might add. I’m not sure about Ellis’s people skills, but it is readily apparent that McDaniels has none, as evidenced by his inability to communicate effectively or get along with players, coaches and the media.
Anyone who thinks McDaniels just needs a little more time to get HIS players in place and HIS coaches to implement HIS plan is a fool. It ain’t gonna happen, he’s a fraud, albeit it an opportunistic fraud that parlayed a minor position in a supposedly well run organization into a Head Coaching position by fooling an inexperienced CEO, and Owner.
The misery in Denver will continue until Bowlen wakes up and fires McDaniels, and his pal Ellis if necessary.

Brandon Marshall isn’t an easy person to get along with, he’s pretty much a selfish douchebag and Scheffler isn’t much different.
McDaniels was right to bench Marshall and Scheffler after the crap they pulled, just ask Champ Bailey he agreed with the Coach.
Mike Nolan had a solid 6 weeks of play and then the defense bailed out. The lack of the offensive play did hurt the defense but Nolan deserves plenty of the blame. I’m interested to see the whole side of this story. McDaniels may only have one more year to prove himself but he holds the potential to do so.
