Ray Edwards has mild MCL sprain

Vikings coach Brad Childress said earlier today that he thinks defensive end Ray Edwards (who did his best Chris Doleman impression on Sunday) “will be OK” for the NFC title game.

According to Steve Wyche of NFL.com, Edwards has a mild MCL sprain.

Typically, a mild MCL sprain renders a player day-to-day.

Edwards had three sacks and six hurries against the Cowboys as he routinely beat right tackle Marc Colombo.
