    I don't understand why someone with a first round contract can't pay a $500 (on the very high side) traffic ticket. Handle your business.

    my friend is a cop in New Brunswick(where Rutgers is located) pulled Britt over about 6 months ago for speeding. Wasn't gonna ticket him but said he was an absolute A$$. Kept dropping the "don't you know who I am" line and was being real uncooperative. That day it earned him 3 diff tickets, looks like it earned him a few more elsewhere. Bad trend to get into...

    If these tickets were from before the draft then I guess we know that Rutgers doesn't pay as well as USC. I'm sure all the trojan players could afford to pay their tickets...

    I'm sure Goodell will make an example of this thug - THREE traffic tickets? And he's still loose in the community? Good God, hide the women and children!

    A lot of times, they simply don't know. They have people who handle these things.

    @RonDayne

    maybe when he has spent the last 6months in Tennessee his family neglected to tell him he kept getting reminders in the mail?

    That almost happened to me in college! The one time I couldn't talk myself out of a speeding ticket--LOL I had a really good reason for speeding that day, too!! After graduation, went down to the station to pay that speeding ticket and a few campus parking tickets--and they were typing up the warrant!! Eeek!! Thank goodness I'm an honest girl and never intended to skip out on them. Guess a lot of students do and that's why they were typing up warrants after graduation.

    "just another nfl thug"

    Irresponsible, yes. But you've condemned a man you don't know as a THUG because he has three outstanding traffic violations from his days as a college student?

    I would not want to be standing near you during a lightning storm.

    People who handle these things did not get the tickets
    I hope he made a mistake and this is not another nfl diva who thinks he is above the law

    Have to say figure he could get a PBA or FOP card to show and get a free pass on tickets

    Works all the time

    either that or he is a total asshole

    WarrenMoonGOAT-

    Are you insinuating I made this story up? Seems like a far reach just to create a post about a rookie WR. You don't have to believe me I'm just letting you know the dude is very cocky and there seems to be a trend with his auto-infractions.
