Can you be arrested for being annoying?
That’s the question a few readers are asking after watching the video below. In it, a man appears to be arrested for chanting “Jets, Jets, Jets ...” over and over to the delight of the San Diego faithful.
We say appear because a camera capturing the event cuts out somewhere between the chant, and the actual arrest. (The man doesn’t go down without a fight.) Without that missing footage, we can’t really know what happened.
The other fans nearby are convinced the guy did nothing wrong, then proceed to verbally abuse the police until one is taken away. (Language NSFW). Good times.
