yes, J Jones did raise the scoreboard to 100′ off the field for the U2 concert, but lowered back to 85′ all per league rules. All the Cowboys games were played with the scoreboard at 85′.

The screen was never moved from the time that the douche bag rookie punter from tennessee hit it because it was the highlight of his life.

I can not see any replays they actually show on them at all. This was long over due. Every season people in my sections complain about those stupid tiny screens.

No they DIDN’T move the boards before the season.

Uhh, if you really are from the area, you’d know that JKC built this stadium…. not Snyder. He was the one who placed a stadium in a terrible location without proper infrastructure for parking and commuting. He was the one who created a horrid fan experience. If you have ever been to Fed Ex Field, which many people do not make it too…because it takes 3 days to get there if you live a mile away because of the stupid traffic that snarls in. As for punter proof…how about all the seats Danny boy added that have their vision of the field blocked by columns. And when fans complained…he sued them. Well, Jerry jones did in fact move the board up, but it was only about 3 or so feet up I believe. Even before he moved t only one punter was able to hit it ( while trying to hit it).

Its more like those boards in FedEx were obsolete before the stadium hosted its first game. Those video boards helped in my decision not to go to any Skins game anymore until LiL Danny started improving the gameday experience. The only thing cool about them was the football player they put up when a big play was needed on Defense. That guy got played a lot unfortunetly.
And I guess this means the Skins will be playing in FedEx for the foreseable future. There was a small sliver of hope that LiL Danny would try and one up PigFace Jones and push to build a new stadium in D.C. No shot of that happening until these video boards are payed off. By that time it will be time to move out of FedEx.

If you’ve ever been to FedEx Field, you’ll understand why Snyder is doing this. The video board there is SO outdated, and the animations take me back to Three Rivers Stadium in the early 90′s cheering on the Pirates.

This not keeping up with JJ. No will match that size screen. Cowboys Stadium is amazing.
It is catching up with everyone…this upgrade is 5-10 years behind most stadiums.
This is the first time I think Dan Snyder is not wasting his money.
And yes the 3 and outs will look good on that screen…very good.
