I wish Cason was put in on run plays and Cromartie stayed for pass plays. He’s only a cover corner. Thats why most runs go to the Offense’s left. They know Jammer will lay out anyone running to his edge. Cro USED to try to be like Jammer, which is what a young corner SHOULD do. Be a COMPLETE corner. If he stays I hope he gets demoted. That or someone gives him a new pair of balls.

That’s true and it isn’t. Asante can HIT well, you can look back on this season and he is capable of laying the wood when he wants to. Asante is a poor tackler, mainly IMO because he doesn’t want to get hurt by the sometimes vicious knee’s of RB’s, which at what, $10mil/year give or take, you do what your friggin asked bud. Good hitter, bad tackler, there is a difference between the two. Watch the pre-season game against the Jags I believe, he was smacking guys left and right.
But thats the thing, it’s only when he wants to. Asante took more games off than just the nationally televised Cowboys game in week 9 (which must have been humiliating for him if he eventually saw it, Collinsworth saying “ok watch Asante on this next snap, he won’t even try to tackle” And sure enough the camera is close up on Asante dogging it)
The Cromartie GIF’s are hilarious, especially that he’s doing while the Chargers still had the lead in a close game. the Conference Championship no less. (the Greene run was the go ahead score wasn’t it?). I’d say Cromartie just cost himself some moolah.

All I could remember about that play was seeing Eric Weedle get run over and never saw Cromartie. Green should’ve never got to Weddle in the first place. That’s ridiculous. I did see his half-ass attempt to tackle Braylon Edwards on a slant and just kind of tag along behind him waiting for someone else to tackle Edwards. If you can’t cover Edwards, who can you cover? How could you even show your face on the sideline after that? He should’ve been banished to the Jet’s sideline after that play. His locker should’ve been packed in a box and left on the curb outside of Chargers’ Park on Monday. Add CB to list of draft needs ASAP and send that pussy packing.
