Harvin, Edwards, Kevin Williams miss Vikings’ practice

Just three days before the NFC Championship Game, three key Minnesota Vikings players missed practice.

Vikings wide receiver and kick returner Percy Harvin missed practice because of a migraine, while two members of the defensive line -- tackle Kevin Williams and end Ray Edwards -- missed their second straight practice with knee injuries.

Although migraines have been a major problem for Harvin, Vikings coach Brad Childress said, “We expect him to be OK.”

Other than Harvin, the Vikings’ injuries today were the same as yesterday. Judd Zulgad of the Star Tribune reports that Vikings cornerback Antoine Winfield (foot), wide receiver Bernard Berrian (ankle), guard Steve Hutchinson (shoulder) and linebacker Ben Leber (knee) were limited.

Vikings cornerback Benny Sapp (ankle) and defensive tackle Pat Williams (elbow) were full participants in practice.
