You’re gonna discount this as grammar nazi-ish, but as a general rule, calling somebody an idiot backfires instantly if you screw up the spelling. Which almost invariably happens.
And yes, Cribbs is not a scrub, unless scrub means “one of the most exciting players to watch on the team.” Which I doubt it does.
Point lost from original post is, Dawn Aponte was the one to tell Cribbs’ agent “this is our final offer”. I think we can assume she’s no longer going to be dealing with agents?

This should surprise nobody. Everyone with a brain knew Holmgren just wanted to make a decision on a head coach and GM before he concerned himself with any players. Good for Cribbs, he needs more money…it’s unfortunate he had to whine like an infant to all the public…you’d rather not see that.

Could not have said it better myself. The guy makes somewhere around 500,000-800,000 a year. But then you have coaches who sit AT HOME and do nothing who are making money because they got fired. Or qbs are overrated and have no interest in playing the league or doing the work necessary to play in this league making 20-30 mil a year (Jamarcus). How can you blame Cribbs? He plays as hard as anyone in the league.
Josh Cribbs waited until the season was over to say anything about his contract. He is a class act.

Its funny how the pilgrims applaud people like Donald Trump for being a “kick ass,” “take no prisoners” brand of businessman.
But when a guy like Cribbs, who ( unlike Trump)has an obvious talent, not to mention personality, he gets criticized for taking an aggressive stance in what is essentially the entertainment business.
And for anyone who has actually seen him play and knows anything about football, he is far more than a special teamer. The guy can effectively run the ball and is a good receiver. On a team that didnt provide a lot of highlights, Cribbs is the Browns best player. He should be paid accordingly
