See when you post stuff like this you REALLY need to take off the homer glasses. If the OLine was so bad then why did Buckhalter average 1.5 more yards per carry? Explain that one smart guy. You DO NOT DRAFT PLAYERS IN THE FIRST ROUND TO BE “PROJECTS!” Where did you go to school? Or did you? Usually rookie corners don’t see much playing time? Where is that written? The Dolphins started 2 rookie corners this year…Smith couldn’t even hold down the nickle corner job. We signed Ty Law because Smith is/was so bad. Do you even watch the games?

I watch the games and read the articles, you must not. I am a Raiders fan… hence the name and hence what I said about my team in the last post.
I follow a lot of teams and especially all the teams in the AFC West. You draft players in the first round it’s great to see instant production, however that is not always the case. Robert Ayers was drafted to be a project that’s been stated by the personnel.
USUALLY rookie corners do not see much time, don’t be an asshole because you can name a few times where it did. If you went to school add up the amount of games where two rookie corners started at number 1 and number 2 due to no injury at all (Will Allen was injured), then divide it by the number of times it hasn’t happened, and then multiply it by 100. That’s called a percentage, which people actually use to help get a clear idea of a situation, which you obviously do not have.

Perhaps it was Ben Hamilton’s complete drop off, Ross Hochstein’s incometence, Chris Kuper’s off year, and Tyler Polumbus’s inability to do anything. Also blame Orton for being extremely poor at the deep game, therefore letting the safeties cheat.
Are you really going to complain about McBath and Bruton? Bruton is a fourth rounder that has shown to be excellent as a special teamer and great for depth just like the Giants’ Zack DeOzzie.
Darcel McBath was taking away a considerable amount of play time away from Renaldo Hill before his broken arm. He picked off Peyton Manning only a few minutes before his injury.
Please man you just want to find anything to complain about. Don’t call me a homer because I can’t stand the mismanagement of my own team. I can’t stand the drafting and I can’t stand the senial babbling.

Yeah Moreno is a bust? What a re-tard. The kid had no offensive line in the backend of the season but almost racked up 1,000 yards, chill out give him another season. Robert Ayers is a project and wasn’t supposed to show much production this year. Alphonso Smith is a corner… and usually rookie corners don’t see much playing time.

Of course you don’t mention picks like Darcel McBath who was playing great and had three picks before his untimely injury or David Bruton who was a special teams monster all year long.
Get your facts straight man and stop acting like the sky is falling in Denver.
At least your team has actually had winning seasons since they last went to the Super Bowl.

I never said you couldn’t question a coach. My issue is with those who blame the coach for EVERYTHING out of blind hatred. As for Cutler he drove himself out of Denver. With the majority of these “fans” it doesn’t matter what is said or done it’s automatically on McDaniels. Nolan could have come out and said he quit because he wanted to work in Miami (which appears to be the case) and somehow it’s McDaniels fault. Assistant coaches leave for promotions like they do all over the NFL and it’s McDaniels fault. Being intelligently critical is one thing being a blanket hater is another.

So to be a “real fan” you can’t find fault with your head coaches? I am a Niners fan and I often said Mike Nolan was a joke and didn’t know what he was doing, am I not a real fan? Real fans want their teams to win no matter what and when they see a Super Bowl winning coach and a franchise QB driven out of town they often get upset. Your loyalty should always be with the team not the coach. If he does something stupid (McDaniels often does) don’t defend because you don’t want it to be true.

I blame McD for his arrogance…no one wants to work for the punk. If you have to tap the CFL to fill coaching vacancies then the word is out how it is to work with/for you.

Moreno is a bust..can not pick up the blitz, can not break a tackle, can not move the pile in short yardage, and the next time he makes a tackler miss will be the first time he has made a tackler miss. Ayers had 15 tackles the ENTIRE YEAR! Zero sacks, Zero Int’s, and Zero forced fumbles. A first rounder? OMG not even a 7th rounder. Alphonso Smith? Wow…can anyone say Willie Middlebrooks? and we gave up 2 3rd rounders for Richard Quinn…who did absoluetly nothing all year.

Per a league source, the Broncos immediately suspected upon receiving a form requesting permission to interview Nolan for the same job in Miami that the Dolphins had been talking to Nolan, which would be a clear violation of the tampering rules.

No chance of that ever happening with Nolan’s former boss, good friend and head coach of the ’00 Jets Al Groh having just concluded interviewing in Miami for the same DC position, before accepting the DC position at Ga Tech.
Again this is nothing more than a Bill Cowher recommending Chan Gailey scenario.
Say what you will about Bill Parcells long history with Mike Nolan and his father Dick Nolan (RIP). But the facts simply are that Nolan’s former boss and good friend had just interviewed and declined the same position, so he made a recommendation to both Nolan and Miami in being fully disclosed of each sides situation and need…
