Freeney not practicing with Colts

Indianapolis Colts defensive end Dwight Freeney did not participate in practice today as he nurses an ankle injury suffered in the AFC Championship Game.

Freeney was the most noteworthy of the injuries the Colts reported today. Two other Colts, tight end Jacob Tamme (ankle) and cornerback Jerraud Powers (foot) also did not participate.

The Colts listed defensive back Antoine Bethea (back) as a limited participants.

Indianapolis also listed 16 players as full participants: running back Joseph Addai (shoulder), linebacker Gary Brackett (knee), running back Donald Brown (foot), defensive back Melvin Bullitt (knee), offensive tackle Ryan Diem (elbow), defensive back Aaron Francisco (hand), running back Mike Hart (ankle), linebacker Ramon Humber (knee), defensive tackle Antonio Johnson (shoulder), offensive tackle Charlie Johnson (foot), defensive end Robert Mathis (shoulder), guard Jamey Richard (shoulder), defensive back Jamie Silva (hand), offensive tackle Tony Ugoh (knee), kicker Adam Vinatieri (right hip) and wide receiver Reggie Wayne (knee).

The Saints did not practice today.
