Chiefs, Pendergast finally part ways

When Romeo Crennel arrived in Kansas City, the assumption was that Chiefs. defensive coordinator Clancy Pendergast would leave.  Then there was talk that he would stay, a report that he’d leave, and a head coach that wanted him to stay.

On January 28, we can finally say Clancy Pendergast will not work for the Chiefs anymore.

The decision to part ways was “mutual” according to the Kansas City Star and the team’s website confirmed the move.  It’s possible the two sides waited to see if Pendergast found another job while networking at the Senior Bowl.

The Chiefs also announced Dedric Ward and Bob Bicknell will not be back.

Anthony Pleasant and Richie Anderson were both hired after serving minority coaching fellowships with the Chiefs in 2010.  Pleasant will be an assistant coach on the defense, and Anderson will coach the wide receivers.

  1. Anderson will also instruct the receivers as to the best places to land a hooker, and ways to avoid being caught with a hooker.
As a local, I recommend anywhere in Independence, Missouri, within walking distance of Arrowhead. Offer any Independence woman $15.00 and you’re all set.

EWWWWEE! I wouldn’t go for Independence W.T. I’m from Independence(Truman), and those chicks are skank city. Raytown girls are easier and cheaper! Either way, remember that the bat doesn’t sting when you swing if you wear a batting “glove”.

  3. Chiefs now have an All Star coaching staff, and a Division II group of players. Let’s see if these great coaches can make whip cream on dog poop! This is the second year for the evil genious’ protege Pioli to draft some quality players. All players (with exception of the kicker) that turned out to be quality players were from Herm and Carl’s regime.
