Mason expected to work out a return to Ravens

Slowly but surely, it looks like key Baltimore Ravens are jumping off the retirement fence.

Ed Reed is expected to return despite saying he was 50-50 after Baltimore’s season-ending loss, and now there is word that Derrick Mason will also likely be back.

Aaron Wilson of the Carroll County Times writes that Mason’s agent and Ravens G.M. Ozzie Newsome are expected to meet soon. Mason is “expected to try to work something out to remain in Baltimore.”

That development would be great news for the Ravens. Now they only need two or three more quality receivers instead of three or four.
